Zero hassle Zero complaints !
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was such a great deal as an open box, and it was in excellent condition as advertised. Lenovo has a great program that honors the date of purchase of your open box product and starts your warranty from the date you bought it, not the date that product was first sold. Super happy with this. People complain about the controllers or the weight, but I did not find either of those things to be an issue if I simply rested my hands on my lap while gaming.

Watch for overheating
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The device runs well. Screen looks amazing. Can run gamepass, steam and epic games since you are running windows. My one issue is the thermals on the device. Some games require you to set the fans to max or the device randomly shuts off

Best handheld in the market right now
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Lenovo really grew in my eyes way more than any other PC companies A lot of people got legion go too early on launch and gave it kinda bad review. Like other handhelds also had horrible launch like ally and deck. Today That's not the case as we speak the device updated and fixed a lot with updates almost every week since launch and now it's the best handheld gaming PC. Best screen best performance of all other handheld. Iv tested it with a lot of games emulators everything runs on medium - high graphics smooth. I'm glad I got this instead of steam. I wanted windows not Linux this might be a PRO instead of CON for some. If you know how to deal with windows then this is the best device in the market if you don't know anything about windows then other handheld might be better for you

Arrived dead on arrival
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Can't say much, came in and was dead of arrival, I have the Steam Deck, and MSi Claw 7 ai+, one thing with what I did see for the Legion Go is it felt cheap, controllers didn't feel like there was much to them, and just charging it to attempt to turn it on it was very hot to the touch. From what I saw in the recovery and bios the screen was nice. But just felt like a lottery especially after looking at others and it seems like its a pretty common issue with many being refurbished for similar issues.

Amazing
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this item mainly because the life cycle of the switch is coming to an end and thought why not?? After all the driver updates and window updates i finally turned it on and played cyberpunk on the go and being that i live on the ocean for three weeks at a time the legion go has been a life saver. With most triple A games ive been getting roughly between 55-70 FPS ON AVG. The battery life is kinda rough maybe you can get 2 hours out of it with some games. But in general i am very satisfied with the purchase. I would highly recommend it for anyone interested in getting a hand held you will not be dissappinted.

AMAZING POWERFUL GAMING HANDHELD!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was thinking of getting a gaming laptop, but decided to put my money into the Lenovo Legion Go instead! This powerful portable device with a HUGE 8.8" screen is the perfect way to play games when I'm traveling, or just wanna wind down in bed with some games. I love that it runs on Windows as well, so if I did need to go onto Youtube, or check my emails, I'm able to as well just through the Legion Go. The kickstand and detachable joysticks are an amazing way to play games as well. Only issue is, the battery life isn't super long. I can maybe get 2-3 hours max out of it, but I'd imagine you'd have an outlet to recharge wherever you were gaming on the go, so it's not a huge issue to me. Love this device! Would highly recommend it to people thinking of a gaming laptop alternative.

Returned due to multiple disappointments
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Big, bulky, uncomfortable to use, and full of gimmicks. I’m sure this is sufficient for many users, but I found it to be uncomfortable to use and lacking a decent battery. Legion Space isn’t great, drivers are woefully out of date, and the portrait display creates a lot of issues with older games and overlays. I found the sticks to be small and uncomfortable, and FPS mode adds extra buttons to the controller while also defeating the purpose of a handheld device. I ended up returning the GO, but as a positive, the screen is gorgeous.

Good x86 handheld
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m happy with my Legion Go. Its my first x86 handheld. I like the 8.8 inch screen. Lenovo still needs to do more software updates for it, the device still freshly new. This is expected and Lenovo did mention their plans for doing upcoming updates. I also saw some videos on youtube that Chimera(Steam linux) can be loaded to it, so it should be interesting having that in dual boot later once that becomes more stable. To me it seems like the fan is quiet. I keep my device on balanced power mode and i can game for 2 hours and half then I’ll be reaching for the charger. I’m hoping future software updates help improve battery life more.

Great handheld game console
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great for on the go gaming, with decent battery life. Buy an external battery for extended gaming experience. Can handle games pretty good. I played cyberpunk, destiny 2, nba 2k24 and allan wake and it could handle those games easily.

Amazing gaming console
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It performs very well for a handheld device! You pretty much have to play with it plugged in due to the high energy demand of most games, though.

A whole lot packed in a very compact package
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This device is remarkable good. Is capable of running contemporary games very well at quite high resolution/detail level. It's truly portable (much smaller than a laptop) but can be used as a perfect alternative to a gaming laptop, because it has a full-grown windows. Xbox controllers run over bluetooth with no special configuration required, which makes it a very good alternative for gamers that don't like the built-in controllers. It's capable of connecting to a full monitor (over USB-C), which makes it a very convenient travel companion. Battery doesn't last very long, but that can be expected of such a small device running at high performance to deliver an experience that's comparable to an actual full-size console.

Surprisingly feature-packed!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Out of the wide range of available handhelds that have sprung up since the success of the Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck, this is the first Windows-based device that I saw that I was truly impressed with. It’s not a small handheld, and doesnt feel cheaply made. The controllers feel like a fully-grown evolution of the Switch’s Joy-Cons, and the trackpad and innovative “mouse” mode feel right at-home when you need it. It runs many games without issue, and there are tweaks that can be made to squeeze out as much battery life as possible. The fans also stay relatively quiet under load as well. Overall, I love this thing!

Windows tablet with gaming capabilities
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are looking for a Windows tablet that can also play modern games, this is your new best friend. Some may find the full fledged Windows experience too much for a gaming focused device, but I love that I can use this with a bluetooth keyboard/mouse and use this as a small laptop. I would say this device is worth 5 stars in my experience, but it does have some drawbacks compared to the competition. If you want a full console like experience, a Steam deck is a better choice. The Asus ROG ally also has more up to date drivers and support, at the time of this writing. However, I love the removable controllers, kickstand, touchpad for mouse support, and the huge screen of this device.

Great PC portable
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm an old IT guy and gamer, and I love this device. For what it is and what it does it's pretty darn good. Yes, if you're not used to PC gaming and the tinkering that goes along with that, be ready to learn or maybe this device isn't for you. I wanted a portable that ran Windows for some games which is why after looking at options, I decided on the Legion Go. I've been pretty satisfied with this purchase. Great for what it is and what it does. Build quality I'm really impressed with. Don't expect a walk around 4090, but if you have realistic expectations, it's a decent performer on lower quality settings.

Really good Handheld for a specific customer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Still not sure if I will keep this just to put it out there. I’m pretty much used to my steam deck…. But after doing all the updates, tweaking and debloating….. it’s been working well!!! That screen is amazing!! My deck doesn’t even compare I’ve been able to play miles morales at 1200p with an FPS of around 40-45. Although switching to 800p doesn’t look as good as compared to the 800p setting in my steam deck but that’s just me being picky. The legion software to me needs more work so hopefully Lenovo will continue with updates. If you want more of a handheld PC experience then I would pick this instead of the ally but if you want more of a handheld console experience then get the steam deck…. The OLED version will be available for ordering in two days.

My PC gaming rig on a handheld!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome accessory to my Nvidia RTX 4090 gaming PC. I love my gaming rig but have been getting tired of being stuck at my desk every time I want to play and instead would rather enjoy lounging on the couch to play on a handheld while my wife and kids are watching TV. You know, family time ;) Disclaimer: my review is mostly going to be about my experience with PC streaming to the Legion Go. Up until now, I’ve been able to achieve high end PC gaming on an handheld form factor only by streaming my PC to my iPhone attached to the Razer Kishi controller. Unfortunately, smartphone screens are way too small to get a decent experience. 7in display on a Switch OLED or steam deck could work, but still would like something a little bigger in my opinion. Hence Legion Go is the answer! Here’s what I love about it: 1.) Screen - the size and picture quality is absolutely terrific! Resolution and refresh rate is up to par with my gaming monitor. It’s beautiful. This was my primary motivation for getting this over the ASUS rog ally or Steam Deck. 2.) Built in WiFi 6E - allows for high speed streaming (fast router needed too of course), enabling me to stream at 120fps with no noticeable picture quality loss, pixelation, or input lag. It’s as if I’m playing directly on my PC. 3.) Battery life - this is typically a con for most reviews I’ve seen, but if you’re streaming from a gaming PC, put the Legion Go in power saving mode. I’m able to play for over 2 hours and still have more than 50% battery left. 4.) versatility - when traveling or on the go, I can still game with this even away from my PC. At this point I would not bother with streaming outside of my home network, but installing the games onto the legion go and playing them directly from the device is still a great experience. Picture quality is obviously not as good due to relying on integrated GPU, so I mostly have to turn every graphics setting to low and also enable resolution scaling for AAA games. But overall still a good experience. 5.) windows 11 - I’m a little torn about this one. On one hand it’s great that this is basically a windows laptop, and as a windows user I can do everything on this that I would do on my PC. But on the other hand, using windows with touch and game controllers absolutely sucks. Windows is intended to be used with a mouse and keyboard, not this…but that’s what you have to expect when you opt for a windows based handheld vs something like a Switch or Steamdeck. The controller does have a track pad though, so that helps. But if you only ever intend to game and are not already a windows user, a windows based handheld might not be the best choice for you. Final thoughts: I’m a sucker for games with high end graphics and always want to experience them the way developers intended (hence the RTX 4090) and the Legion Go totally delivers an uncompromised experience for a handheld. So if you’re like me and already have a high end gaming PC, but just want to enjoy all that gaming power on a handheld with a gorgeous screen to utilize it, get the legion go. It’s also great to install and play games directly on it when out and about, but there you will have to compromise on battery life and graphics quality. That’s not the typical case for a user like me though, since I use it 90% of the time at home. Very happy with this device!
