Such a great system, loving the giant screen and higher refresh rate, the speakers aren't that good at first, but there are a lot of great guides online to follow to help make the experience better, really like being switch-like feel of the controllers and screen. Being able to play with each controller in a hand and the screen on a surface is awesome, from the updates that gets release it seems Lenovo really wants to try and make this system work and I really appreciate that. One of many to come greats to the handheld market!

Has a lot of potential if you are willing to work with it and fine tune it, runs most games very smoothly and without issues. Definitely not a plug and play device. Windows isn't intuitive but isn't horrible to navigate once you get a hang of the controls. Screen is amazing. Only thing I didn't like about it was the thumbsticks, no matter how many times I tweaked them they always just felt too sensitive or too slow. Other than that it was much better than I expected. I would recommend it to anyone if they are willing to give it some time

For a handheld gaming pc, it is an absolute beast and the perfect travel size. It is able to handle most games on medium graphics (sometimes high but at the cost of frames per sec). It is able to tackle Cyberpunk 2077 with ease but Hogwarts Legacy not so much. I realized it was because there isn't enough RAM for Hogwarts Legacy to run smoothly, but you can sort of still play it.

It blew all expectations out of the water. I own the ROG ally x and a steam deck o led, and they dont even compare. I will be selling my ROG products and trading in my steamdeck for the new budget legion go s (the budget model runs steam os)

This thing plays great! I’m actually surprised.. I’m a PC gamer but was really wanting to play some of my games on the go. I did a lot of research to see what handheld can play AAA PC games without having to lower the graphics a whole lot. It’s amazing. It’s basically a fancy switch 2 LOL.. Been playing FF7 Remake/Rebirth, Genshin, and Oblivion so far. Loving it!! Only negative thing I have is that the speakers could be better but it’s fine.. they’re loud but it can definitely have room for sound quality.. some good headphones or external speakers can easily substitute it. I definitely recommend it and BestBuy had it ready and available for me to pick up easily

The Legion Go is a peculiar one. The display is hands down the best on the market for handheld gaming pcs. It’s big, and it’s beautiful and I wish the other manufacturers would go with at least a 8” display. Unfortunately that’s where it began and ended for me. Everything else just seemed worse than the steam deck oled. Speakers are top firing, weak, and tinny. The button layout is odd due to the removable controllers. FPS/RTS mode is cool but not something I see myself ever using. Windows isn’t horrible on this size display but I do wish there was an alternate way to sign in other than touching the display itself and smudging it every time you use the device. All those are peeves I could live with. Except this last one.. the cooling fan is horrendous. It sounds like there’s a tiny dentist drilling a new hole into my tinnitus. I couldn’t use the device while sitting on the opposite side of the couch than my gf because she could also hear this tiny dentist drill. Ultimately I did return the device and got the steam deck oled and have been extremely happy with my decision. I do miss the 8.8” display but everything else I could live without. I applaud Lenovo on being big and bold in their handheld debut but unfortunately I think it just missed on a few too many marks. And I also can’t help but feel like without the removable controllers it would be a better device. More room for better cooling/fan/battery.

I originally had a ROG Ally for more than a year, and recently sold it to try the Lenovo go. The large, beautiful screen on this device is unmatched by any other handheld currently on the market. Also, it seems like most, if not all, of the software bugs have been worked out with this device, and it is truly ready for prime time. This thing is packed with features and is actually usable as a portable PC as well. I can never go back to a small 7 inch screen again.

Purchased for our son when his computer died. He goes to school online and with a cradle this can go from desktop PC with keyboard and monitor to handheld gaming device to go. He can also travel with it easily to attend school while on vacation. We plan on getting one for our other son as well. There was a learning curve and it isn’t perfect with every game but overall for a kid who has every video game system on earth including a switch 2, this one is often the one I see him on the couch with.

Such an amazing product , I love my Lenovo legion go! I got this after the Asus Rog ally I also purchased from the BestBuy but the bigger screen ergonomic design & detachable controllers really hyped me to purchase this over a steam deck it’s honestly the best handheld p/c / gaming pc you can get for the price it’s a steal , feels like a portable PS5/XBOX X/S ON THE GO! Love it !

I like it is very sleek and feels premium. It is quite heavy compared to its competitors (Rog Ally, Steam deck) however the software is probably its weakest point. Its in its early stages so theres plenty of time to work put kinks which I hope they (Lenovo) will and the Ally didnt start in a better place with the Z1E processor either but currently the Ally with the same TDP and resolution settings is more responsive and lasts longer battery wise playing the same games. The controllers are also both excellent and at times not very responsive. Trackpad needs some work though Im not sure if that can be a software deal.

The Lenovo Legion Go is amazing. The Go is fast, has a beautiful screen and the detachable controllers are an engineering marvel. The only gripe I have is with this device is actually with Lenovo themselves. Lenovo is ruining this device because of their slow, painstakingly slow driver updates. Lenovo you have made a amazing device please speed up the updates.

Of all the handheld, this checks all the boxes. Battery could be better but if you can change and play with the right settings, it can hang there with other handheld. Screen is beautiful and great options for fps mode as well.

A Marvelous and Misunderstood Monster of A Machine

First off, I coming from the Steam Deck, Nintendo Switch, ROG Ally and PC & console gaming. My Opinion: The Legion Go is a prime choice if you can freedom in the titles that you can play, a large screen, and like the flexibility of a hybrid design. One thing that may ruin your experience though, is Windows 11 and the need to config BIOS and hardware. With that said, it is the best choice on the market if you're willing to learn and change settings. What's Misunderstood: Many reviewers and Youtubers have uploaded videos showing that the LEGO does not perform as well as the ROG Ally. Is that true? Yes, if you do not change some of the configuration. The main that cause that outcome is the RAM Speed, you'll need to change it from 7500Mhz to 6400Mhz, this will allow it to perform like the ROG Ally at 15w and lower. Most AAA tiles can be played Low-Med or High with the help of FSR and RSR once the change is made. What have changed since: Most reviews were done after the initial 3-4 update, since then I has had driver updates, Windows 11 has had some updates, and AMD has provided updates that also include frame-generation which currently only works on external displays for legion go, but the Lossless scaling app on Steam is a solution. Legion Space has also been updated to include custom TDP(Power Settings) and Fan Settings, as well as how to change hardware. Conclusion: The Legion Go, if you are willing to make the changes and realized that it has more time to mature ahead, but undoubtedly a solid choice that is underestimated and misunderstood by those expecting an out the box requiring no work on their end. I've tested over 10 separate models of the Legion Go and even the open box models should be a solid buy as well as long as the previous owner did not lock the BIOS. Hope this helps someone in their choice.

This is a very good hand-held Pc, as a PC gamer myself this is what I needed, the screen is gorgeous, and it look nice. To play in bed, in the couch or during flight it just feels nice and confortable. The delivery time was low because of high demand but I was able to send mine to a ups store to pick it up in a city I was traveling to... If you are looking for a potable machine to play l, this is the best decision... Also don't Buy 512gb unless you are going to upgrade to 2tb. Game this days are very large (30 to 100 gb). So get the 1tb or update the 512 to 2tb

Previous steamdeck and ROG Ally owner. I loved the Steam deck but needed a more flexible and powerful device that's able to play games outside of the Steam store without workarounds and too much tweaking, so I switched to the Rog Ally and that kept me gaming for a while however I was one of those that encountered the SD card failures so when I saw this being announced with detachable controllers and one that acts as a mouse? no brainer, plus its only 50usd more to get it to 1TB from the base model. It's a bit heavy but you get a better screen, and really no issues gaming on it. Currently playing Spiderman remastered!
