The system is a powerhouse that plays most triple A games with ease. I love that the controllers detach because with an 8.8 inch screen it does get heavy so it nice you can use the kick stand and pop the controllers off and play your games!

I was not looking to switch from the Steam Deck to anything else anytime soon. When the Legion Go was announced, it definitely looked intriguing, but I wasn’t convinced from the launch videos that it would be a major change from what I already had. I decided to give it a try though due to Best Buy’s holiday return policy. I had nothing to lose and could get a feel for it without having to worry about a major commitment. I’m not sure how to completely say this but having it in hand completely shocked me with what the overall experience was like. I quickly found myself not wanting to go back to my Deck. There is a little bit of nuance with changing from the almost no need for effort with Valve’s OS but the screen and higher capacity for major games really made me feel like I was taking a step back with keeping my Deck. A little over a month later and I have sold my Deck and kept this. Well beyond worth it.

This is better than the ally and the steam deck. The screen quality is beautiful, and games run great. You do have to tinker with settings with certain games, but if you are a bit tech savy, this should not be an issue.

This thing is awesome, so much so I had to force myself to put it down (okay that's an exaggeration) but its still amazing how much you can do with this, battery life is iffy but that could just be how much I've been playing with it

The Lenovo Legion has got to be one of the better handhelds on the market as of now, though tinkering for the optimal experience is a must. To start the OS preinstalled(Windows 11) has poor controller navigation support so after unboxing I installed BazzaiteOS, a Linux distribution with the Steam Deck UI preinstalled. After that the device was functionally a Steam Deck with better hardware. Games that I ran on it included Apex Legends which gave a respectable 120fps average on low settings 720p and Helldivers 2 which gave me 40fps on low 720p. All said if you're willing to tinker I'd say this is the best handheld you can get as of now, 4/5

This is an excellent device… but not if you are used to a high end gaming experience or don’t have access to a power outlet 24/7. It doesn’t handle well with higher settings like I am used to however I really enjoyed using it for lower intensity games or coding, and maybe even a little bit of streaming on Netflix or HBO. It has also been a wonderful diagnostic tool working in HVAC & Electrical. I also store important documents on this as well because 1TB of storage is a lot for things like that. The controller is more than enough for me, though I love my scuff envision pro :)

Outside of an awful shipment cycle due to Best Buy the device itself is pretty much what I expected. A decently powerful handheld pc with a few software and design flaws. At the time of this review the VRAM Assignment, legion software, and sd card read speeds are atrocious. However, this is similar to the ROG Ally and Steam Deck beginnings as well which both over time received a massive amount of support. Lenovo already announced a roadmap of updates, some to be executed by the end of the month that will fix more than half of my gripes. Since I bought this as a Steam Deck Replacement that would have better access to more games with less work arounds I am inherently satisfied. My games run well, the system functions well, and I do not have to watch a few tutorials to get gamepass or any other launcher to work. I have very few complaints and think this is a promising device that will be built upon in the near future.

Husband loves his portable game. Use to have the ROG Ally and upgraded to this later on. Had to buy a new charger on Amazon for $30, but other than that he loves it. The size is a little big but gets comfortable over time.

This handheld provides an excellent Windows gaming experience. Battery life could be improved for longer play sessions. A larger internal battery would enhance portability. Users desiring extended playtime should consider a 65W power bank or higher. Power banks less than 65W won't charge it.

This Legion Go is an absolute beast. Not just in size, but in performance as well. Plays all the modern games I have to throw at it. 60 fps on low settings, and 30 on medium. The screen is the perfect size for me.

Great handheld for my use case. The kickstand is solid and the removable controlers awesome. FH 5 holds a solid 60 FPS I'm medium settings with the TDW set to 30W. The larger screen is awesome too. Over all I really like it.

I really like that: This device has a large screen compared to the competitors. But also has the power of roughly a PS4 TO PS4 pro. The controllers are pretty uncomfortable, but I 3d printed some grips, and it was an easy fix. 10/10

Screen is biggest pro. Lenovo support was terrible @ launch. It is better now but still not what I would consider "good". Now that it has been out a while I suspect it to be better but I am not sure I would 4 stars tho. Put it this way, it looks much better than the steam deck (screen) but widows kills this machine with Lenovo support dragging it a bit as well. I would get the steam deck (owned both).
