Overall a very compelling product that delivers the experience well but unfortunately being held back by the battery technology of today. Average 2.5hrs of battery life makes the whole portable idea really underwhelming. Would not recommend full price point of $700 but worth trying it out during sales

Hi BamesJond, thanks for choosing Lenovo! Regarding the battery life, depending on the demand of the game you're playing, by pressing the Legion R button to launch the quick menu, you can switch to lower power mode to save battery. In the menu, under the performance tab, users can toggle thermal modes and prioritize battery life by using the default mode or creating a custom thermal mode should you not be satisfied with the 3 presets. These adjustments can also be made by going into Legion Space > Settings (Legion Space can be launched quickly by pressing the Legion L button (Legion Logo above the button). We're glad to hear that your Legion Go excels overall in your eyes, and we really appreciate you sharing your experience and feedback with us. Lenovo

Kind of meh and honestly it’s the battery for me more but the screen I was spoiled of your looking for a device to always be plugged in (which isn’t bad) or a device that supports a beautiful screen definitely this device is a steal

The Legion Go has been a great purchase not just for gaming but as a small tablet sized computer on the go with a separate wireless keyboard trackpad. Performance is good enough to play many games at low settings with little stuttering. But some games still struggle to play well, like Hogwarts legacy. All in all its a good device for on the go gaming, but expectations should be kept in check as it may not perform as well as you'd hope in some games. Also wish this came in a 32GB ram version it would've helped with more memory intensive games.

It's good value on promotion if you don't have anything else yo game on, but a little bit on the heavy side. If you can get it on promotion then i would say go for it.

I have been comparing this, the MSI Claw, Steam Deck and ROG Ally and have been extremely happy that I chose the Legion Go. I have played a lot of games on it so far and have not had any issues. Switching and putting games to sleep could be easier. I absolutely love the size and resolution of the screen. The colors are crisp and I have not seen any lag. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a handheld gaming PC.

It might be big for a handheld but it’s sleek that’s for sure. It’s a nice device. My husband got it because he travels for work and he loves it. He says it runs games pretty well (even with having to tweak a couples graphics)

    Best PC handheld for me

To me this is the best PC handheld because it has the biggest screen. The Ally is a great device but the 7" screen being much smaller than this or even a PlayStation Portal let me to go in a different direction. I've been using the Legion Go for a month and I'm very happy with it. Helps that it was also on a big sale! Tip: Make sure you set up hibernate mode. Much better than full shutdowns and saves the battery unlike sleep mode.

I’m coming from the Asus Rog Ally and I’ve gotta say the screen is what makes this thing amazing. I was nervous before I got this since there was lots of talk about the display not having vrr, but I can’t even tell and I’ve used it for almost a month. What I am able to notice is the big gorgeous screen compared the ally. Colors are amazing, brightness is great, thin bezels and fast refresh rate. They still need a lot of improvement when it comes to the software, but so far it is looking promising as they are talking to the community weekly.

I'll preface by saying this: I love my Legion Go, I use it all the time either just for gaming in bed or for longer lunch breaks at work, I take it to the laundromat and in terms of portability it can't be beat. From a hardware perspective, this machine is sublime, and in spite of the specs it has surprisingly competent battery life if you turn down the settings and still get very respectable performance.
