Perfect for what i use it for. I dont travel much with it so its mainly for home use while on the couch. For me its comfortable to hold bit i can see how it might be too large/heavy for some users. Battery life on the highest settings isnt great but again, for my home use its not an issue. Screen resolution and brightness is great.

I saved my money for 5 months to be able to afford it because im poor and i do not regret it. Thanks Best Buy for the good service as well.

My experience with the Legion has been great, it has been able to play any and all games I've thrown at it (some better than others but it still plays). the removable controllers are great for both casual playing in the home and traveling. plus the ability to dock it to a keyboard and mouse (and eventually an eGPU) makes it a staple for the foreseeable future.

Amazing device. Nothing quite like it on the market. Size makes it more usable for people with larger hands but besides that it’s a well built windows gaming handheld. Looking forward to the coming weeks and months of updates as well. I was on the fence between the steam deck (even OLED), ROG Ally and the Legion Go. Legion won me over on paper and I’m not disappointed.

Great screen, but very glossy. It’s powerful but you need to tweak and adjust in game settings frequently, just like on a gaming PC, as opposed to something simpler like a Steam Deck.

Screen is pretty awesome. However, the awful ergonomics, gimmicky detachable controller, Poor battery life, and general Windows experience being this product down to 2 stars. It really is a shame, because the screen is beautiful and the z1 extreme chip is capable.

      Hi GoldenPants,

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are sorry to hear that the Legion Go S has fallen short for you due to software functionality and design. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you, and we'd like to work with you to try to improve your experience where we can.

To start, with system functionality, we recommend ensuring you're using the latest version of the Legion Space app, along with running the latest drivers for the system. You can do both in the Legion Space app under Settings. Also, just a reminder that each Legion comes with 1 year of free Legion Ultimate Support, which can be contacted at the following number: 1-888-278-9707, Press 1 for Gaming. They are the best equipped to handle questions, concerns, and requests regarding your Legion and should be able to help you quickly resolve any issues you may have including software bugs.

We look forward to hearing from you.

      Best regards,
      Lenovo Lenovo

Hi, BrendanW. Thank you for choosing Lenovo! Regarding the battery life, depending on the demand of the game you're playing, by pressing the Legion R button to launch the quick menu, you can switch to lower power mode to save battery. In the menu, under the performance tab, users can toggle thermal modes and prioritize battery life by using the default mode or creating a custom thermal mode should you not be satisfied with the 3 presets. These adjustments can also be made by going into Legion Space > Settings (Legion Space can be launched quickly by pressing the Legion L button (Legion Logo above the button). We are glad to know that you are loving your Legion Go, and we appreciate your time taken to share your experience and feedback with us. Lenovo

The Legion Go has too many software issues and annoyances to recommend. The good: - big beautiful screen the makes the device function well as a Windows tablet - premium and professional feeling design - excellent joysticks and buttons - great kickstand - helpful features like trackpad and scroll wheel The bad: - The fans are loud and run constantly. They make an unpleasant whine. - Legion Space software is buggy and slow with questionable UX. Quick settings, however, necessitates that it be fast and reliable. For example the overlays do not always display depending on the display mode of the game. - Software did not function correctly out-of-the-box. For example bundled AMD Radeon software did not launch under initial configuration. Radeon RSR feature built-in to Legion Space was broken. Software updates fixed that but broke other things like fps counter no longer works. - Lack of VRR support. This would not be a dealbreaker however for some reason changing between 60Hz and 144Hz requires that the device to be plugged in. - The controllers are too difficult to detach, which is the main gimmick of the device. It's hard to imagine using this feature. - Performance is inexplicably worse than competitors using the same chipset - Lots of strange quirks like Windows start menu hides itself if you accidentally tip the device. I really wanted to like this device but ultimately it did not "spark joy". There are too many issues with it. Hopefully Lenovo fixes these issues but at this time it is impossible to recommend.
