Bestbuy did a great job with delivery as it arrived on time and in perfect condtion. In regards to the device itself, its aces! As a former Steam Deck owner (which I loved), this thing just knocks it out of the water in terms of performance and visuals (although the OLED may give it a run for its money in visuals). As a intermediate PC user, it was very easy to navigate and set up all my different games. I found it easier to set up than the Steam Deck but this device does lack the awesome user interface that the Deck has. Running games at full resolution on this thing is truly stunning. Ill have people walk by me during my break at work asking about what this thing is and how great it looks. Truly beautiful screen. Its a pricey device but for what it does, its a great value. I can play all my Steam games, remote play my PS5, watch videos, use it as a tablet and so much more. I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone who is on the fence. Just get it.

Have been playing Red Dead Redemption 2, Elden Ring, and Baldur’s Gate 3 for the past 2 weeks, and so far, this machine has not failed me. Playing at Medium-High settings with at least 30-40 fps. Setting it a Low, has been able to give me almost 60fps on all games. Storage for me is the sweetspot, but I like the fact that it gives me the option to easily add a microSD card. The only reasons I am not giving it a 5/5 stars, is the battery life and bugginess. Battery on these games runs too short, anywhere from 1.5-2 hours. I also have to put the handheld on sleep mode or turn it off for it to charge. You are able to play while connected but the stays at the same level. Bugginess of the system is not a deal breaker for me.

Absolutely love everything about this console. The controllers disconnecting am becoming the fps mode, the chips, the storage, the shortcuts, and so much more just make this console my new main (sorry ps5 and switch). Battery life is the only issue for me. I know I can tweak the setting and all and extend it but I enjoy playing on somewhat better graphics, so i just basically stay plugged in all day. Plays so many games great, the fps mode actually gives you more options than most handhelds imo bc you can set up all the extra buttons and have basically mouse and keyboard, if you can get used to the ergonomics of it. Highly recommend buying one or financing one if you are interested in something to game on. Have wanted a good gaming pc for years, and this is actually way better than any laptop or anything I have managed to try over those years.

The Legion Go has absolutely been nice to have while I am traveling. While it's not the same experience as having a big gaming laptop, it's convenience is really, really good. It has a big, beautiful screen, despite being an LCD unlike Switch or Steam Deck OLED. The fact it's high res when I want it, and yet still high refresh is very nice. The fit and feel is nice too, though the controllers feel a little unstable sometimes. The only reason for the star off is that mine required a little setup that I think could be resolved through the Legion Space app, specifically BIOS settings for charging ability and RAM provisioning. A minor thing too, is that I had to download Steam and adjust Steam Input to get mouse control via joystick and buttons. Those I think could be incorporated into the app, but we'll see if that comes along at some point. Overall, very nice, happy to have a handheld that I can run around with and still play some games in my downtime.

I’ve used the Legion Go daily for over a year now and I really like it but have mixed feelings about it as a product. TL;DR it has some features that really separate it from the competition like the screen size/controllers and it can be really fun, but it has some very frustrating drawbacks especially with the software. I would say if you want to have a gaming device to use at home and want the versatility it has to offer then I would consider it, but other than that it’s very hard recommend it right now because of the issues it has and the price tag. I mostly use it around the house like having it docked and connected to my tv, when I want to play games while being in a different room or outside, bringing it to a friends house, and even using it with my drum ekit to play Fortnite Festival basically anywhere. So in all those situations here’s my good, meh, and bad. The Good Screen: It looks nice even being an LCD and not a high resolution. Its biggest advantage compared to any other handheld is the much larger size, but other than that its what you would expect. Controllers: The controllers are the easily the best part about the whole thing. They feel nice to hold and use, they last a long time on a charge, and them being detachable with a built in mouse could be a reason a person would choose the Legion Go over anything else. It just makes it way more versatile over any other gaming handheld especially if you make accessories for it using a 3D printer. Durability: I’ve dropped it a lot especially on hard surfaces and a few times it hit directly on the corner of a metal bar, but you would never be able to tell by looking at it or using it. It also has automatically shut off to prevent overheating when I’ve accidentally laid it completely flat on its back. The Meh Performance: the performance isn’t bad, on heavy games it’s not going to replace a console or a gaming computer around the same $700 price tag but smaller games run like how you expect, though putting the device on battery saving mode makes the entire device run noticeably worse. The way I like using much more is remote playing off my Xbox series X. Battery: it’s not terrible but you can easily kill it by playing anything heavy, even playing something moderate to small can noticeably drain the battery if using it on performance mode, and the battery saving mode can save battery but makes any game unplayable. Portability: it has some things that make it great portability wise like the detachable controllers with a built in mouse which results in less things you have to bring with, but it is much bigger than other handhelds and the battery makes it way harder to reliably use traveling when you always have to bring the charger with. The Bad Software: This is the major drawback of this device and the weirdest software I’ve ever seen which to be fair, a lot of them are Windows issues but they are still issues, so I’m just going to list all them I’ve experienced; turning itself back on after powering it off, occasionally randomly scrolls the screen which can get very annoying, while sleeping it will end up going max fan speed to fans off alternating every second, the onscreen keyboard is inconsistent on when it pops up, the built in Lenovo app has uninstalled itself randomly then reinstalled itself days to weeks later so you never know if it’s actually working or not, and several other smaller bugs I can’t remember Even though I’m giving it a 3 star review I still use it every single day and still have a lot of fun on it, but the price it costs makes it more difficult to overlook the issues it has especially compared to other similar devices and potentially even the Legion Go 2. I would take a console, laptop, or another handheld over this in a lot of situations, but this does have situations where this is way more fun then all three.

This thing is amazing. I use Steam and don't really play a lot of intense games on it, just Bethesda stuff, some Castle Crashers and MTG Arena and now I'm branching out and trying other things. I have an xbox but when others are using it, it's nice to be able to grab this and find a quiet spot to play. I love that it works as a Windows tablet. I can browse online, write, listen to music, and do anything on this I can do on my laptop. Seriously, in love with this device. Worth every penny.

Had my doubts with this handheld, but man did I fall in love . If you love tinkering with programs , settings, resolutions etc, this is your device . Beautiful 2k screen and especially when games can run it at 144. BUT… keep in mind those games will be very limited .. 500 nits and people say it’s not bright? I keep my go at 50 , max I’ve taken it to was 80 and I mean that’s with direct sunlight hitting me . Oh but the battery life you ask? Well your millage will vary from mine . I’m ok with 1:30-3:30 hours on battery . Get you a fast charger bam problem solved .

AAA handheld gaming beast! Bigger is better! Lenovo shows how it's done! Bigger screen at 8.8in 144hz, ultra bright and crisp colors! Bigger battery 49wh means more game time! (Game & settings effect this) Absolute performance power house! 60fps!(average) Playing Grid Legends. Not even in performance mode!!!!(See picture). I couldn't belive it. Innovative removable controllers where the right one becomes a mouse! In the race to the top, Lenovo claims the podium for best handheld of 2023! (IMO)

I purchased this right before the 12/25/2023 Lenovo update. The update fixed the one major problem concerning the dead zones and also added IS scaling via AMD software (remember to turn off any antialiasing within the game). The battery life isn’t bad at all. I played Styx Shards of Darkness on high settings and it runs with an average 53 FPS, lows 47 fps, highs 59 fps. The game looks great. This is with system on game saver mode and efficiency mode at 800p up scaled to 1600p due to the AMD IS, screen brightness set to 4 ( I play in bed with no lights on) Titan Fall 2 runs at around 57 FPS average. On battery both games run between 27-35 average on the exact same settings. Played 2 hours on battery and had 44% battery level left. Overall I’m happy with the device to play games and with the added bonus that it runs Windows 11 OS. I’ve purchased a foldable wireless keyboard and wireless controller to add more versatility. You get a gaming system that’s mobile, can connect to a tv, and can be used as a secondary mini PC computer.

I love this device, and I 100% recommend it to experienced Windows users. I would recommend anyone coming from a console get a Steam deck. The Legion Go does need a little tweaking depending on the games, but it’s really nothing I haven't experienced from my full-blown gaming PC. Being able to detach the controller is a really big addition for me, along with the mouse functionality on the left controller. The price is very intimidating, but if you find it on sale, get it immediately!

I recently got my hands on the Lenovo Legion Go, and it’s been a game-changer for my portable gaming experience. The design is sleek, and it’s packing a powerful AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor that handles even the most demanding games effortlessly. The 8.8-inch QHD+ display is stunning, making everything look vibrant and crisp. One of my favorite features is the ergonomic controls and detachable controllers—they make long gaming sessions so much more comfortable. The battery life is pretty solid too but does depend on whatever games you'll be playing, and the cooling system works great, so I haven’t had any issues with overheating. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but if you’re a serious gamer looking for a high-performance handheld device, the Legion Go is definitely worth considering.

The Lenovo Legion Go is hands down the best handheld gaming device I’ve used. It runs Windows, so I can play my entire Steam library, use Xbox Game Pass, and even do light productivity work. The display is insanely sharp and big compared to other handhelds, and the detachable controllers are super versatile. It’s basically a mini gaming laptop in your hands. It was a great purchase when I bought it on sale, this device helped me through so much boring times during traveling. It’s powerful enough to play many games even from triple a but those mini smaller games just feel great on handhelds, people might think it’s overkill but the screen size, the frames are just great. Some complain about the legions app that’s pre install but it’s actually not that bad, plus u might never need to use it
