Awesome handheld! Pretty powerful and fast. The fans are a little loud when running bigger games and the battery life could be a little better but otherwise perfect gaming handheld.

Great device. I got the 32GB model and it has ran everything I've thrown at it. GoW Ragnarok defaulted to medium settings and ran smooth as butter. I only took off a star for 2 reasons. First, the speaker seems low quality. That may just be a driver issue, but voices in AAA games sounded a bit low, when with the volume turned all the way up. Games with no dialogue sounded fine. Second, the fan is loud, very loud. If you are sensitive to that kind of thing it would be noticable. I've read that you can disable performance mode to avoid it kicking up max RPM, but the extra power over the stream deck is kind of the point, so I haven't done it. Still, love the device overall and would recommend.

It run really good i just wasn’t a fan of the joysticks really cant get my head around them don't know why. Great screen and display but battery life sucks on triple a games but if you plug it in you're golden.

If your vsieo library is mainly on steam, they has the closest thing to perfect lit there! Has a great screen, great ergonomics and just overall great feel to it. Only thing holding it back from being perfect would be the battery life. Outside of that, it is can run on steam OS, it runs excellent on here!

Most comfortable handheld and pretty powerful. I tried the SteamDeck, Rog Ally, Switch 2, etc.; this is the most comfortable for me to hold. Performance is good too. And even battery life, if I play 2D games, I can get up to 5-7 hours with stable 120 FPS. I also purchased a power bank, so when traveling, I can get over 1.5x more battery life with no issues. The only thing I miss is the lack of an OLED display. Playing outside, it is quite dim. And playing in the dark - all blacks are grey, very noticeable since all my other devices (smartphone, tablet, laptop, and TV) are OLEDs with perfect blacks.

Honestly one of my best purchases. Runs most of my games flawlessly and fits comfortably in the hands. My only issue is battery life, but emulating old games usually gives you a 3-4 hour battery life.

Hello, id like to say that this product is great ON SALE. I paid $530 around black friday. Ive had both the lcd and Oled steam deck up until now, and this device outperforms them. I will say hiwever that i play mistly plugged in to an outlet to take advantage of the 1200p resolution and higher fps. Nit plugged in the battery is abysmal. Still fir me the 50% boost in resolution its wirth tha caveats. I still have my oled, but have given it to my daughter. If this is not on saje, and you see a oled refurbished fir 4 abd change it is a fine purchase.

Love the steam OS, feels great in the hand. Really powerful for a handheld for many games. AAA titles are playable on low plugged in with good frames. Easily handles many indie games.

Great device! The performance is pretty good and the screen is crisp and vibrant! Only complaint is battery life you will want to stay close to a charger with this thing for sure.

Honestly, this device was insane — I loved every second of using it. Performance: The combination of SteamOS + 32GB RAM was the big kicker. Almost no stutters, no bloat, no silly Windows issues — just pure gaming joyousness. Experience: Smooth gameplay, responsive controls, and a streamlined OS that makes handheld gaming feel effortless. Why I Moved On: I only gave it up for the LEGOZ2E, which is awesome too, but the Legion Go S delivered an incredible run while I had it. Bottom line: if you want a handheld that feels purpose-built for gaming, the Legion Go S nails it.

I love this device, I’m coming from a steam deck lcd and the performance is night and day between the 2. The battery in it does suck but if you don’t mind having to plug up it’s great. Currently playing MH wilds and I’m able to play on medium settings 45-55 fps. If you can get this on sale it’s better but still a very good device.

Coming from a ROG Ally X to the legion was seamless, great experience. The handheld is snappy, plays all games even better than the Ally x (steam uses much less overhead than windows) and the added screen size is a game changer. I will say the ally x is a little more comfortable to use, but this even after long sessions is still comfortable. If you thinking of going from windows to steam (assuming you only game with the device) I would make the leap, it is worth it. Great product, love it!!

I own the original Legion Go, so I was a little hesitant about picking up the Legion Go S, especially since it runs SteamOS instead of Windows. After spending time with it though, I honestly use the Go S more than my OG Legion Go now. The first thing I noticed was the comfort. The grips on the Legion Go S feel much better in the hands, especially during longer gaming sessions. Battery life is also improved, which makes a bigger difference than I expected when gaming on the go. The 32GB of RAM definitely helps as well. Games feel smoother overall, and heavier titles seem to benefit from the extra memory headroom. One thing that is a game changer was how good the sleep function is. On the Windows-based Legion Go, sleep straight up doesn't work, but on the Go S it works exactly how you’d want it to. I can put it to sleep, come back later, and jump right back into a game without issues. That alone has been a huge quality-of-life improvement. I was unsure about SteamOS at first since I was used to Windows, but it grew on me quickly. It’s simple, fast, and very focused on gaming. Less setup, less tinkering, just turn it on and play. Because of that, I find myself reaching for the Legion Go S more often. If you already own the original Legion Go, this isn’t a mandatory upgrade. But if comfort, better battery life, a solid sleep function, and a more console-like experience matter to you, the Legion Go S is a great option. Cons: Mouse touchpad is absolutely horrible. I also don't really like the placement for the 2 USB C ports on top. They're a little too close for larger dongles, making one unusable.

I purchased the Legion Go S over six months ago and I haven't been disappointed one bit! There's no lag, there's no buffer! As long as you have decent WiFi for online games especially, there's almost zero difference between playing from your PC at home or playing on the Legion Go S, other than the size of the screen of course. For a compact, mobile and on-the-go gaming experience, the Legion Go S certainly doesn't dissapoint! Would buy again 110%

Love it! I am a huge Lenovo fan and my gaming laptop is also a Lenovo legion. I love that they created a more powerful machine than the steam deck with steamOS added! I don’t really care that the screen isn’t oled, I have no issues with my screen at all, it looks great. I opened mine up and upgraded the internal storage to a Samsung PRO 990 -4TB. Yes, it’s a little overkill..BUT it’s amazing that it is compatible with a full size M.2! There is also room for a microSD slot, so plenty of room

Battery life is only about an hour but that's fine. It is powerful though. I want to switch it to windows 11 though just because some games don't run on Steam OS

Works flawlessly with all my games, easy to use, fast to power up, and an instant sleep that stops all battery drain during pauses, even some as long as several hours. A comfortable grip makes playing this for extended time periods easy. I knew the Z2 Extreme model were coming, but also saw that would be several hundred $ more, without a corresponding gain in specs. This unit is perfect for my needs
