I purchased this gamin system with no hopes due to a lot of my games being very system intense. Well let me just tell you its probably the best gaming device i have ever purchased. It plays all my games with no lag and is fairly lightweight considering how big it is. I think it aits perfectly in your hands and the controls are very well made. I would 100% recommend this to my friends and family if they are wanting something a handheld gaming computer. It works just as good as my computer i spent over 2k on and now i play on this device all the time instead of my computer. I thought i was gonna regret it when i first purchased it, but If you have been thinking bout getting one buy it! You wont regret it.

if you are on a budget and cant afford to drop 2000 and up on a high end gaming laptop or tower then this is a good budget friendly option you wont be able to run games on ultra settings or in 4k but you can run most AAA titles on 1080 medium to high settings smooth on a side note it has thunderbolt 4 compatibility what does this mean for someone thats not tech savy? it means you can connect an external graphics card or gpu and really turn this little machine into a portable gaming rig even have it docked on a setup in a man cave ect thats where these hand held pcs shine having an entire gaming computer that you can take with you is not clunky as a laptop and if you want a desktop experience you can dock it and it becomes a full desktop this is the future of gaming portability the technology needs a little more time but i believe this handheld gamig pcs will replace gaming laptop in the near future i 100% recommend for any one who want to be able to play AAA tittles on the go with ease to purchase this machine A+++

Excellent gaming handheld. Performance is fantastic. Much faster than some other handhelds similar to this. SteamOS is very easy to setup and use. The screen is also fantastic with its high refresh rate and VRR. Controls are very good and feel well built. Plenty of storage space for this model as well. Highly recommended!

I had the original Steam Deck LCD. I sold it and got this Legion Go S (SteamOS). The battery life leaves a lot to be desired, but this thing is a beast. Not handicapped by Windows, this thing really flies. But keep in mind, unless you're playing older games or reducing the graphic settings(like me, boomer), this will not replace a gaming computer

SteamOS on the Legion Go S is a killer combination that just feels right. Fun to game on but it’s a battery guzzler be prepared to charge it constantly when gaming on it heavily

Product quality is generally a thing of the past. Not with this handheld! This is amazing! If I could afford it I would buy one for everyone I know. There is no game this hanheld cannot play well. I play diablo 4, Elden Ring, and Nioh 1 and 2. They all run flawlessly with incredible load times. I could go on, but I am at work. Do yourself a favor and but one.

This does everything I was looking for & more. Beyond handheld gaming, the ability to run a regular desktop is a bonus. SteamOS runs great & while it doesn’t play EVERY game, it does play the majority of them very well. Battery life could be better, but it charges fast & you can easily play while on a charger or in a dock. Very happy with this purchase.

Battery dies pretty quickly so you will be gaming with it connected to power. i like the touch screen for some games. feels like you get mouse level control without a mouse (helpful in menus) I like the bluetooth so i use my airpods alot. Runs Arc raiders fine on low settings, and other games look great. if you have headphones in, you won't hear the fan. I mostly use it when I want to game but I am not near my desk for travel or other reasons.

I mostly play beamng and euro truck sim on here, comparable to my slightly more expensive msi laptop depending on the game. Only downside is the fan is quite loud but the console doesn't get hot. Also note that certain games aren't very compatible and are almost unplayable but most are fine. Feels more ergonomic than you would expect!

The Legion Go S with SteamOS is a great handheld but I ultimately returned it because of SteamOS and compatibility with anti-cheat software. If you want to play games with anti-cheat you will need a windows handheld. Games without anti-cheat work well and honestly SteamOS is a better experience, it just didn't fit my needs. I ended up getting the MSI Claw 8 AI+ instead, performance wise the MSI is better but ergonomics the Legion was much better. If you want performance and compatibility go with the MSI Claw but if you want a more "comfortable" gaming experience and do not intend to play games with anti-cheat I would recommend the Legion Go S instead.

Screen quality is excellent A bit on the chonky side but overall still pretty portable. I have bigger hands so I struggle a bit with the ergonomics. My right thumb has a tendency to tap the screen when using the stick sometimes. It's only an issue on certain games. Some people complain about the fan noise or the heat but I haven't really noticed it being an issue for me. I've played bulders gate 3 and space marine 2 with no issues. It's my first hand held but overall I'm happy with it

I was highly skeptical about this machine since the Steam Deck has already done an amazing job of hosting SteamOs. However, the Legion Go S blew all of my expectations out of the water. Z1E Chip + 8" screen + comfortable ergonomics is a nice refresh and processing boost/screen from the sd. This device is a home run only IF you know what you are getting into. Drawbacks come down to a lack of Windows OS, for which there is a Windows version of this device and you'll have to pick the red pill or blue pill.

I got a fantastic deal on the Go S and I’m consistently impressed with the performance. Can run most games with ease. The battery life is terrible, so expect to play near an outlet or purchase a compatible portable battery.

Excellent device, wonderful ergonomics, fantastic screen. SteamOS is so much better for handheld gaming. The only blemish is the limitation on playing some popular multiplayer games like Call of Duty or Battlefield, but I pair this device with GeForceNow and can play all those games using low power mode and take advantage of the 120hz screen at high settings.

It is a very good handheld and had good performance but the screen is a lcd so not as good looking and the battery life sucks but other then that everything is great

For it being a handheld it runs everything pretty good and is really handy for when you travel and still wanna game, I’ve been really stuck on playing arc raiders and this makes it easy for me to catch up on everything even when I’m not home, there are things like battery life and the sound of the fan but it’s a handheld so it’s nothing that I wouldn’t expect.

Amazing handheld, runs Harry Potter and Warhammer 40k seamlessly at 60 fps average which is amazing for a handheld imo, especially one with an OLED screen. Would reccomend a seperate battery if using on flights/long trips as the battery life leaves a bit to be desired.

Good buttons and display. I like the color. The color looks like a dark nebula purple color to me. The ergonomics are nice in my opinion. The switch 2 joycoms felt too small to me and I am glad I made the switch to lenovo. Imcan run most of my games at balanced tdp of about 16w. I look foward to keeping my device for a lomg time.
