Great product for accessing a variety of triple-A games on Steam. The Steam operating system is extremely easy to use. The cpu/gpu, graphical quality and speed of he games are great, although some of the higher-end games struggle with texture quality at times. That said, games like Spider-Man 2 and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle run great with no crashes, if you don't the little imperfections here and there. It's a little on the price side, but certainly one to book mark for when there is a sale. While the battery isn't great, I mostly use it at home anyway, so it doesn't bother me.

The device is great but its a bit overkill for most games i play. You do need to change its performance settings or else it will freeze mid game, you could also pplay in performance mode which will stop it from freezing but it also drains the battery really fast.

If you can get it on sale, it’s a wonderful upgrade to the Steam Deck. Currently using it as my main gaming device since it’s so convenient. Combined with a Killswitch case, I feel I can take it around anywhere. Steam OS means you’re initially locked in to that ecosystem, but there are plenty of ways around that. It would make a wonderful gift for the gamer in your life. The only downsides are the battery and speakers, but there are workarounds for those as well.

Happy with my purchase. I owned a ton of handhelds this year including the legion go 2, my favorite by far was the legion go s z1 extreme with steamos though. It plays all of my games, steamos gets me right into gaming quickly. Quick resume is a must for me these days where I often pick it up to play here and there. Screen is 8” so plenty of real estate for games and small text. I highly recommend this device!

This Legion Go S was planned to be my handheld emulation machine. But now its my go-to for everything. The Z1 extreme chip can still power modern games, and if you lower the TDP you can get 6+ hours for emulation. So comfortable to hold, too. The screen is nice and big, even though it’s not OLED, its still gorgeous.

Pretty awesome device. The unit feels sturdy and comfortable to hold.

After trying out many handhelds , steam deck, rog ally , Xbox ally x , msi claw , legion go full size , This is the most comfortable, and best bang for your buck tbat you will get, it performs pretty much the exact same as the " newer" gen hardware for a fraction of the price . Compared to other systems legion go s is solidly built and not flimsy like other devices such as Xbox ally x

Pretty happy with my purchase most games I own have been able to run. This little guy got kick to it and paired with SteamOS performance is greatly improved compared to other devices in the market. I just wished the trackpad was a little bigger other than that 9/10. FYI you can switch to desktop mode and use downloadable compatibility programs to run windows launchers and games.

This is one of the best additions to my gaming set up, it can run Doom 2019 on high graphics at 90-100 fps, amd can run more demanding games like red dead redemption 2 on medium-low with 40-50 fps. i can also just stream rdr2 or whatever else on high graphics from my pc and play it on the legion go with little to no latency (when using ethernet)

Very first handheld pc that I owned, first I was undecided between this legion go s z1 extreme or the steam deck oled some people say steam is still the best but can't run new and more demanding games so I have decided on buying this one also upgraded the ssd from 1tb to 4tb bought same time here at best buy samsung 990 pro both works perfectly and no complains, never been very happy with my purchase

The steam deck upgrade I've been waiting for. It give you the extra power to really let you play newer games with much smoother fps. The steam os really allows the hardware to shine

Very nice and more powerful than my gaming laptop even tho i have a nice desktop now, but I enjoy laying in bed after work and play the same game that I usually play on my desktop IN BED, UNDER THE AC. My wife loves it because I can stay next to her while im gaming lol Under steamOS everything is smooth, and I can also play on desktop platform, Im running battlenet on mine and plays with no issue. Very good

I did my research on this product and I finally bought one. The 1st one was an open box and had software issues, but BestBuy was proactive to help me fix it and get a brand new one. Now, when my wife wants to watch “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” that I have no desire to watch, I bust this out, put my headphones on and catch up on some gaming while my PC rests in the office. To my fellow men, its pricy but worth it.

I love this thing. Best piece of tech i own. It can emulate anything that can be emulated and can play so many games on steam and epic + gog. This is ALOT better than a steam deck.

Legion Go with Z1 Extreme chip (not Z2 go) is a great device. I like the display and embedded controllers (not detachable). The only drawback is the short battery life which is about an hour for recent games like TLOU (~45 FPS) or Alone in the Dark (~50 FPS). Oh, and you'll have to buy carrying case if you need one because it doesn't come with the device.

I’m loving it so far, I’ve had it for about a month no problems, it’s definitely a backlog killer I’m enjoying all the little indie games I’ve had just sitting in my library. I’ve added the killswitch case which has made better with the grips.
