For my first PC handheld this really proves it’s worth. The convenience of a handheld like the switch with the power of at least a PS4/Xbox One. Loving the Steam OS, its the next best thing to a Steamdeck

SteamOS does a lot for this thing, ease of use is great. I did buy the cheaper model, so the only case in which I would return it would be to upgrade to the z1 extreme chip, 1tb model. My biggest gripe is the battery life, any demanding games won’t net me more than an hour and a half without being plugged in.

I bought this to replace my clunky gaming laptop that is too heavy to take anywhere with me. I play mostly light to mid-level games on Steam, so I figured this would be just as good as my laptop. The gameplay on this is fantastic! Great graphics, no lag experienced. My only cons for this device are: 1. The fan noise 2. The battery 3. The price When playing most mid-level games (I don’t play anything super intense), the fan blows out the top of the device and it is much louder than any laptop fan I’ve ever experienced. It might not be a problem for most gamers, but if you’re like me and bought this so you could play games in public and on the go, it might draw some attention when you first start playing. The battery life is pretty poor. I can usually get about an hour of continuous gameplay on one charge before it dies. I don’t mind too much bringing the charger with me when I go places, but it wouldn’t be ideal for long car rides or anything like that. I understand that this is on the cheaper end of this sort of product, but I still think it’s too expensive. I bought my original gaming laptop for just a tiny bit more than this device costs, and I feel like the laptop has a lot more use outside of gaming. This is purely a gaming console. I wish the price was more comparable to something like a Nintendo switch or an Xbox. Overall, I have used the heck out of this thing and I do love it! Just with a few little caveats.

This works everywhere and runs smooth. It's like a carry on computer but in holding version. The air runs through behind making the game not laggy and super smooth!! Got this for my boyfriend during sale and he loved it so much.

This will be my 2nd purchase. This one for my girlfriend. It's very good. Screen is awesome and so is the performance. The battery life is good for me since I have to kids.I have no complaints.

Works great for steam games and emulation. Loved the comfortable grip, everything felt solid. Only problem is the touchpad, however, navigating desktop mode using the sticks wasn’t bad at all.

Love this device! Having my steam libary portable for when I travel is super convenient. The only down side is the battery drains pretty fast. Depending on the game I usually can get between 2 - 3 hours of gaming.

Loud fan during high stress gaming. Very comfortable in my hands and plays most everything I need to play thru Steam OS. Just wish it had more options for silicone grip covers and cases for storage of all items not just handheld.

Me and my daughter love how simple it is (she is autistic and had no issues navigating steam os on the first day). This is much better than a switch 2 and games are like 1/5 the price. We use it docked to the tv often. I also have the legion go s with the z1e. I love how portable it is while still working great hooked up to a tv/monitor. If I spend another $600-$800 for an egpu this will have great preformnce in line with many current $1500 prebuilds, maybe even a little better. And then I still have the option to take it portably where ever I want. I feel this is a good otion over buying a gaming pc.

Got this for my son for Christmas he wanted the steam deck but this is a lot better, bigger screen and more storage. He loves it! His best Xmas so far he’s 12!!! His words!! So I’ll take that as a win!!

i love my legion go alot and it works realy well and as someone with a huge steam library its nice to have a system that is made to for that and the base storage is very good too im glad i got it

This handheld is fantastic! The “Steam Deck 1.5” has a really good Steam OS. The 8-inch screen is incredible. The speakers aren’t as impressive as the Ally’s, but they’re still enough for daily use. Overall, it’s an excellent handheld. I recommend choosing the Z1 Extreme version instead.

Really great product, performs greatly with all the games I run with it. Battery could use some work but overall, its amazing

Love this device, its so fun to use and what makes this even better is that i can take it on the go with me !!! i can also use the games that i have on my legion gaing laptop on the legion go device!

I love my legion go! Battery life still has a ways to go in handheld gaming but if you don’t mind shorter playing time/ being plugged in while playing it’s definitely worth it!! Everything else about it is amazing.

I was debating whether or not to wait for the steam deck to be back in stock but after the crazy price hike I had to find an alternative. Eveything else was ranging over 800 and for me personally that's way too much for a portable device. I wasn't looking to play all triple A titles or anything. Mainly some indie games and or a few triple A titles that weren't to demanding and this machine does amazing with that. Love the screen size, ergonomics are really solid, battery last me a very long time and the performance is top notch. Not the most powerful but for the price it's perfect for what I need. Currently playing south Park stick of truth, metro reduced and shadow of war and it's doing great. I don't drop below 60 frames and I have it on evo mode so I can only imagine how well it does on performance mode.

Steamos was suck an awesome operating system to put onto a handheld device, it ran all my games atleast at 30-50fps on balanced mode performance mode worked really well too probably added 10-15fps but it did drain the battery quicker I mostly played with it plugged in but if your not then I suggest being prepared for it to last 2.5 hours most likely.

I've had this for a few months now, what I've done with it? Play games, from emulators (up to PS3 and Switch), to up to date games like Marvel Rivals and Baldurs Gate 3. Using social platforms like Discord just works without any issues. Wanna stream to your friends? go for it, can be a game or simply a video you're watching on YT. So far, my only complain is not with the device itself, but compatibility with the OS. Why? this came with SteamOS right out of the box; games like Fortnite and any other game with the same anti-cheat will not work. Sure, you can bypass this by installing a windows OS (or dual booting), but its a hazzle to deal with that when you just want to boot up and play.

This product does exactly what it’s supposed to do, and it does it well. The build quality feels premium, the performance meets expectations, and the setup was simple and intuitive. It’s a smart investment for anyone looking for reliability and solid return on spend. I’d recommend this to anyone in the market for a dependable, well-designed piece of tech.

It is lighter, bigger screen & battery is better than the old version. Steam os is also a good experience to enjoy the game. I will recommend it to my friends.
