    The device is very good; it boots up quickly, just like a console. The fact that it comes with Steam OS is a huge advantage. Obviously, you need to know at least a little about Linux to get the most out of it, but if you're just a console gamer, it'll still work for you. The battery life is short, though, and the device is enormous. It doesn't seem portable at all; I can't imagine taking it on trips. In the end, I traded it for a gaming laptop, but for those who like the concept, it's fantastic

    For a seasonal and late bloomer gamer, it wasnt as difficult to catch up to how you will have fun playing with games you choose..i always have my excited hands on it whenever free time is upon me..it is the gamers dream of having back on the time i was young(Im 50 yrs old now).and now i have the priviledge of becoming that dream a reality i will not miss living the excitement of experiencing the amazing feeling of having fun and adventure...

    I've been running Arc Raiders on this at 50fps and having a blast with it. You can connect a cobtroller and headset to it with no problem. Even without a headset it is very loud. Steam OS is great and easy to use. It is also very comfortable to hold and the fans do a good job at keeping it cool. 10\10 would buy again

    This s has been a positive experience. My son has enjoyed the machine overall. He has only had it 30 days though and already we are heading in for maintenance bc he has a button stuck. He is very mindful of how he handles his machines and takes care of everything he owns. This is not a case of abuse.

    Product is very good: snappy and beautiful screen. It’s annoying that Legion not only didnt bother to include a case, but this was lauched without any accessories available. Official case announced but looks like overpriced and mediocre. Also this was designed to be $499 but they increased price right bedore launch.

    I use it when I put my daughter to bed and I have no complaints. One of the best pieces of tech I purchased in years. Only complaint I have is that on steam is when switching to desktop mode the controls take a sec to kick in. But probably will fix in software update.

    This has been one of the best buys for my son. Right off the bat, almost all of his Steam Games loaded. He was able to go on a long plane ride and play his games. The battery is good as long as the games are not too intense, but he has a computer for that.

    My sister wanted a steam deck for a long time but they were out of stock for at least a few months now. This model of the Legion Go S (Z2 go) has similar specs to the steam deck, if not better. The dark purple looks really nice. Only thing that steam deck has better is the two large touch pads, this one only has a smaller one on the right side. I really like that it came with Steam OS out of box, no hassle for people to just play in a better OS (compared to windows).

    For what it is, its pretty average. Its comfortable to hold and play for long while, but plan to have a charger nearby if you're playing any demanding titles. Didn't live up to what i needed, so i returned mine and got the 1tb Z1 extreme with 32gb ram, and that one has been perfect, handling anything ive thrown at it with fiarly solid frames.
