I wish battery life was a little better, but it beats my expectations for performance

I love my legion go it’s one of the best gaming handhelds I’ve ever played, it’s not very complicated to use and I can play practically any game I want to some games just need to be in performance mode. All around it’s an amazing gaming device, only downside is the battery life but that’s very dependent on the type of games you play I would definitely recommend it if you’re looking to play games on the go

Honestly, I was a bit skeptical about the product because I had the first-generation Legion Go and ended up returning it—playing on Windows was terrible, and the controllers were awful for shooters. But I have to say, this product is completely different. The hardware feels like a huge upgrade, and with SteamOS, it's incredible—games run as if you're playing on a console, not a PC. I highly, highly recommend it. Plus, you can play on Xbox Cloud Gaming too.

The Legion Go S is a whole lot of party packed into a small package. As someone who is new to handhelds, and PC gaming as a whole, I was skeptical of this little machine upon purchase. What I found, however, was a whole new world at my fingertips. The SteamOS interface is not only user friendly, but extremely intuitive and responsive from the second you boot the Legion Go up. It was incredibly easy to download games and play them off rip. The device itself is comfortable to hold and play for hours. The only downside is battery life, which varies from game to game. The best performance comes from Indie titles/platformers. With countless optimization settings and the entire steam library at your fingertips, the Legion Go S is where you’re going to find the most bang for your buck.

This is the perfect that i own. It is super fast and powerful, and with steam OS, it rocks. The screen is bigger than the ally x, and it is about the same price, and i love the controller. The triggers are adjustable, but the buttons are a little loud. This makes it hard to game in bed with a loved one next to me. I know there are talks the new z2 extreme launching this year, but they are just talks. I dont want to wait for a few months and then deal with the problems of a new chip. This is the perfect device and it is available now. I recommend it.

Amazing system. Ensure you review battery usage and optimize settings. Not many covers and protectors for system so make sure to stay away from toddlers and pets. Has PC mode and Game mode. Very smooth gaming and can virtual play some games that wouldn't work great downloaded.

Great device when you can get it on sale. Steam os is an easy to use operating system that elevates this handheld. Only complaint is the fan can be a bit loud for my liking.

Great device. Always loved steamOS. Glad to see it on a legion go S device. The screen looks gorgeous. But I would recommend pairing it with Z1 extreme as Z2 go is weak for a 1200p display, even with some indie games. Also, if you have small hands, be mindful, it’s too big! The weight is surprisingly very evenly distributed and well balanced, so you won’t feel it at all!

The Legion Go S SteamOS Z2 Go version kinda makes this variant viable but it still falls short. It looks great and feels great in the hand except the shoudker and trigger buttons which are a bif weird feeling. SteamOS is kinda good on this but still has some issue and bugs on these other handhelds. But most improtantly the battery is still too small and mediocre in comparison to the Ally X as well as the Z2 Go performance being a little lackluster.

I really enjoyed this device. It runs game smoothly boots up quickly and love the steam OS. It is a little loud like both people have said and the battery does drain somewhat quickly with high-performance games but overall really enjoy this very portable device.

Better than steam deck, very fast powerful and screen is nice

This thing is just amazing. Beautiful design and it is comfortable in the hands. The 8 inch display is stunning ( even though it should have been an OLED. it can handle everything I have thrown at it. Would definitely recommend unless you are playing games with anti cheat.

I want to start with i love everything about the Legion go S Z2 i know there is another version the Z1 Extreme but i already have a PC and didn't think it'd be necessary but i love that am able to play my games in the couch or even in the bed ir any where honestly. Yes battery might not be the best but for my casual daily use it's perfect. It's a little bit heavy but you get used to it very quick. Overall it's great especially emulating games.

Love this thing. Have to play with volume up as fans are busy working in high intensity games like God of War at max settings. Also careful to fully shut off prior to putting in case as mine turned on mid travel and extremely overheated as there was no air flow in the case

It’s literally like a handheld computer in your hands. My steamOS has a desktop version so I can surf the internet and jump back onto steam and play any game that steam can offer. If you’re looking for a great present for a young gamer, look no further!!

It's comfortable, it can play some pretty good games and, it's just good to take when traveling

My daughter lived this handheld. Instead of paying a retro psp vita more than half cash or zelle buy this brand new monster with 12 months payment option you will never regret buying it

Lighter weight than I thought Initially. Battery life doesn’t last very long as expected when playing games like RDR2 and Cyber punk but otherwise does well. I’m surprised at the performance it’s really good for the price

I love this thing. It's not the most powerful handheld on the market but it definitely gets the just done. Replacing Windows with SteamOS is just a bonus
