Excellent addition to the LEGO series

I am a huge fan of the LEGO series of games, having collected them all ever since the original LEGO Star Wars game. In a lot of ways, this is the best of them so far. In all possible ways, this is the best Superman game ever made. All of the incremental improvements, such as the moving split screen, are here. From a technical standpoint, that makes this the easiest to play game from the series. The only true problem I had from that standpoint is the camera control. There are a few points where, if playing multiplayer, you have to have each person in just the right spot for it to work. Not a big deal in single player (and in no way a game breaker in multiplayer), but I only play these games with a friend and it could be improved. The biggest change from previous entries is that there is a full voice cast with talking figures. I was worried at first, because the silent aspect worked so well in previous games. But the script and the voice acting was outstanding. They got Clancy Brown to reprise his role as Lex Luthor from the DCAU, which was great, but not the other major voices. But the new voices are still great. The writing is witty and engaging, and well worth the addition. And having all of the other DC universe heroes is an extra treat. I single out how great it is to play with Superman, as I have horrible memories of previous Superman games (especially Superman 64 - ugh.) The interaction between the World's Finest heroes is enough to make a comic book geek happy forever. In all, if you are a fan of the LEGO games, you probably already have this game and love it. If you are a fan of DC, or just like fun, engaging games that the whole family will love, then give this a go. I think you'll be happy you did.

    A very fun LEGO game

Overall, I love this game. Playing as Batman and other great DC Comics characters is a lot of fun. There is plenty of bad guys to defeat, puzzles to figure out, and features to unlock. There are many hours of gameplay and it is very entertaining. It is a fairly easy game to pick up and play. There are only a few bad things I've encountered is that you are only able to save in certain situations and flying with characters is a little tricky at times.

Lego Keeps Building a better game

Lego game fans will be pleased with the latest incarnation of the classic game engine that we all have come to know and love. If you don't like the other Lego games, you won't like this one either. It is more of the same, but like always it is just a little smoother than the last Lego, Tt game. The Gotham City free roam experience is by far the best addition to this game. It is like when you get to roam through Hogwarts in between missions in the Lego Harry Potter games, but way more massive. Almost every building has a puzzle to solve to get to the top and score a gold brick. And whenever you FLY as Superman, the iconic music from the original movies plays. The flight controls leave a lot to be desired and there is no up/ down invert, up is up and down is down. However the flight controls are completely different (and easier) in missions. The character list is massive and there are 2 extra DLC character packs available now on PSN and Live. The split screen play can be nauseating at times due to the fact that the screen divide line moves and rotates as the characters move about. I much prefered the single player mode, but there is one achievement you can only get from 2 player mode. I, personally, had to finish this game once I started, but I played all the Lego Games that way. For Lego game lovers this is a must!

    Lego Justice League

Great game. I stayed up for a few hours just exploring the open world (Gotham City). FINALLY a game that makes it fun to control Superman. The rest of the Justice League heavy hitters are here as well. Definitely pick this up great for kids and hardcore gamers. For you parents sqeaumish about exposing your kids to violence the bad guys just explode into harmless blocks on this one. no bloodshed no profanity but still a lot of great superhero beat'em up action.

Great follow-up to the first Lego Batman game.

Absolutely loved Lego Star Wars Complete Collection and Lego Batman. If you have played any of the Lego games, you know there's usually some sarcastic wit and funny interactions between characters. This sequel doesn't fail to give you that between Batman and Superman! While I really enjoyed playing this game, I finished the story portion of the game pretty quickly. A LOT quicker than in the first Lego Batman game. But, Lego Batman 2 adds the huge open world of Gotham City. All of the Red Bricks and many of the Gold Bricks are found throughout Gotham City. To find them, you'll choose a certain character in order to use the correct suit to achieve the task to attain the red or gold brick. You will also need to explore the city to defeat all of the League of Justice enemies as you'll need these characters in your arsenal in order to complete levels in Free Play mode. Similarly, you will need to find additional League of Juctice characters as well to assist you in completing levels in Free Play mode. This game focuses on Lex Luthor and The Joker so I hope that the next Lego Batman focuses on another pair of bad guys.

Much better than lego batman1. It has dual display for 2players. The player can move anywhere alone. The story is very well made and there are a lot of characters. The only problem is that kids are addicted easily.

    Easy game for all ages

I have played a few Lego games in the past and one thing that I didn't like was that there were no voiceovers, even though you don't need them in this type of game it would be nice to have had them. I like that they added them for this game though as it bought something new for me. The gameplay in this game is very fun and easy for people of all ages to pick up and play, it is recommended that you play in co-op mode with a friend or family member. I will finish off this review by saying while I had a great time playing this it would have been great to have the option to play with online friends and not be limited to offline only co-op.

Decent game, even better with voice acting!

I enjoyed the game and really enjoyed playing as all the DC characters. This is the first Lego game to feature voice acting instead of the generic sounds that previous installments have had which adds a positive dimension to the game. The game can be glitchy at times with characters getting stuck and the flying is a bit tedious. On a side note my game freezes up constantly which I know has nothing to do with the game itself.
