This is the best GTA-like open world I've played. It is hands down more fun with more interesting things to do than almost anything else in the genre.

The game has good humor and decent gameplay mechanics (similar to other Legos) but definitely suffers from slow framerate and long load times. Still fun enough for 2 people to play casually.

I enjoyed that this is a two player. I also own this game for WII U but it is single player. I like the game for Switch better.

    Humorous Open World Adventure

Lego City Undercover is a port from the Wii U release. Pro: + Upgraded resolution for docked mode. 720p on handheld mode. + Solid frame rate. + Humorous Story line with a lot of movie references for all ages. + Many activities and secrets to find throughout the city. + Many vehicles to unlock and collect. + Two people can play together and explore separately. Cons: - Some vehicles are hard to steer. - Load time is a bit long when starting the game. Also load time between different quests. A fun solid action adventure. The game is a bit on the easy side, which is understandable as it's targeted toward the younger audiences.

Lego City Undercover is truly a gem among the various Lego games. The narrative of the game is quite intriguing for both younger and older players with both humorous and action-packed moments. You can play through the entire game by yourself, or give a controller to a friend or family member and play the game via co-op split-screen multiplayer which in my book adds more value to the experience.

Great game for my son that I purchased, he won't get off of it until I tell him so I'm guessing that means it's just that great of a game.

Helped my nephew pick it out for his 6th birthday and so far it seems to be a hit. It's hard convincing a 6 year old to play a new game (on any system) when they'd rather dump their money on V-bucks or Ro-bucks or any of their 3 favorite games just so their character can wear a new set of clothes, gain some dance moves, or hatch some eggs.....but we weren't leaving Best Buy with a ridiculous gift card for his birthday! And now this PG grand theft auto is in rotation!

My 5 year old loves this game and plays it as much as we let him. I didn't like paying full price for a game that goes for $20 on other systems with little to no additions
