This was a very fun LEGO game to set up and then play on the Xbox 1 my 7year old was able to put it together and play it on his own!

I purchased this game as a Christmas present for my sons, aged 5 and 3. I was unsure of what to expect from the game due to their age. The game has been easy enough for both of them to pick up and play, and the 5 year old has improved his ability to follow the on screen directions to build the characters and vehicles. I will not lie, the game is also very enjoyable for adults to play as well.

For those who love Lego's, this is for you and your kids. This starter pack has everything you need to get you going. Just place the lego characters (that you build) on the board (that you also build) and they are transported into the game story you are playing. There are numerous other packs you can buy with different characters for expanding your stories. Very fun for anyone who loves Lego's.

Just another for of Skylanders or Disney but each toy can be rebuilt into 3 different items unless you buy 3 of them and then you don't have to keep rebuilding them

We have the other type of character games, Skylander, Disney Infinity, and this by far is the best of them all. What I like about this is that Lego has promised that they will not change the game like the others have to where you have to spend another $80+ to play the new game. Just but the new set of characters and play a whole new level. This is the best game that Lego has come out with to date.

This was a Christmas gift for my kids. My kids that are 10 enjoyed the game very much. They had fun going through the process of setting it up and playing to the point they were able to make vehicles for the characters. They've enjoyed the different worlds they are playing in as well. My 6 year old enjoys playing with the Lego characters for now (ha ha). Looks fun for those old enough!

My kids spend lots of time play this game, doesn't seem to get old. Kinda annoying that additional pieces cost between $15-$20 when you already pay enough for the game.

My son enjoyed building the Lego pieces and is having fun playing the game.

As a family we love this game. This package comes with enough to keep us entertained, but we are excited to purchase the add on packs for even more adventures!

Even though the line is discontinued, now's a great time to get in on the fun sandbox play. This set gets you started. (As the name implies.)

This game is so fun! It's not just another Lego game either! You build the "Portal" and the "Characters" with Lego! A must for any lover of gaming and Lego!

Lego Dimensions is a good game. Uses a lot of different popular series like Lord of the Rings and Ghostbusters. You can complete the regular game with just the starter pack but need buy other characters to complete everything.

If you've ever played a LEGO game you know what to expect from LEGO Dimensions. The gameplay, the gold bricks, the challenges are all pretty standard across the LEGO games. The fun comes in the mashups you can do between properties (Batman working with Harry Potter and Scooby Doo) as well as the new worlds accessible with each new character pack you buy. Plus there's a great physical interactivity required of moving and switching characters on the gamepad. Highly recommended if you love LEGO games.

Good fun for kids and adults alike, it's a shame they're not gonna support it with more content but should be able to pick it up for a good price..... was on sale 60% off at the time of purchase for me

While it is sad that the Dimensions game series has been shut down, the fact that these are still Legos that you can use for other toy sets makes it an awesome buy. Mine came with Lloyd of the Ninjago series and it was not marked on the box, so YRMV. I just hope I can play this offline when they decide to shut down the servers.

My gf at the time bought me this for the PS4 but I never really played my PS4 so I didn't get to play this as much as I would have liked at the time. I bought it on the One recently so I could enjoy all the packs that she bought me last Christmas. There is a lot of content that this game provides if you can afford it. It's also fun to play co-op with a friend.

It is fun to see so many different franchises in one game. Fun for kids and adults to play together. Teaches kids to problem solve.

The starter pack gives you everything you need to experience the world of Lego Dimensions. The starter pack allows you to play the full game with only 3 characters. Adding additional characters opens up a ton more in each of the levels, but this is a very fun and interactive game. I would highly recommend it if you are a fan of any of the Lego franchise games.

I love the gentle violence of the lego games for my two special needs kids ( I don't let them play anything with blood or bad language) and they love being able to switch characters whenever they want, as well as all the building that comes with the actual physical game, as well as the in-game challenges. The price was awesome. Very happy with the game.
