My family loves the Lego video games. Who doesn't like smashing bricks and completing puzzles? This game continues the fun, but is a little frustrating. First, you need to build the portal. For those who easily assemble LEGOs it is a quick build. For those who do not have excellent motor skills, it is hard to complete. The game itself has multiple levels through different worlds such as Back to the Future, the Simpsons, Portal which provide good game play. But some of the levels are frustrating with no easy way to move forward. One particular level needed us to push a switch which was located behind a solid wall so there was no way to see it (needed to use online cheat site to find this out). One good feature is that if you have enough credit you can "hire" missing minifigures to open up more of the game. Overall, a good addition to the LEGO world.

This is pretty awesome. Great game for many ages. My 5 year old is able to play with some help. Great to play with him. Would be good for groups to play. Interactive and fun.

I own every console version of this game and this game does not disappoint. Great meshing of game play with Legos. Great two player fun. Highly recommended!

Lot's of fun! If you ever had a craving to play with Lego's while playing a Lego game this is a dream come true. Lots of depth and a variety of worlds to play in. Great story, mixing Lego Movie, Dr Who, Back to the Future and more. Minus 1 star for pricing.

Neat concept of a game, but it's a money drainer..

We have this game for a couple of week and have enjoyed playing. The game play is pretty close to other lego games. I like being able to mix characters between franchises.

my 5 year old loves it. this is his first game systemand I thought it might be to advanced for him. ejust started playing like he had been doing it all his life

Game is great if your kids also like Legos. There a build element, a decent game to play, and can really be customized with all the level and story packs.

bought this for my grandson for Christmas. sure he will love it as he loves all the other legos we buy him. he loves legos dimension because he can play them on the xbox.

Bought this for my son. He loves it! The game play and story combined with the lego building is everything he hoped for. Recommend this for any parent.

My wife and I love the Lego games a lot, but had resisted Dimensions, as we had a now shut down toys to life game we enjoyed. We finally made the switch when we got the starter pack for half off, and have enjoyed it very much. Bought a few expansion packs already. The humor is great, the puzzles to solve are challenging, even for us, and we just love all the different franchises included with the game to make it a never ending good time. Each level takes quite a bit to complete as there is so much to do and explore. And the franchise worlds themselves offer so much to explore and do it's really worth it.

son is excited this was the only thing on his list. Cant wait for christmas.

The nephews love the game, hopefully they don't lost any of the small parts

This is a heck of a lot of fun. My girlfriend and I have different tastes in games, but we both enjoy LEGO games. This takes LEGO to a new level...being able to mix and match characters in any level is awesome. If you want Superman flying through Middle Earth, go for it. If you want Gandalf battling Daleks, it's your call. I'd recommend getting at least one Fun Pack in addition to the Starter Pack because like other LEGO games you need to acquire characters with certain abilities in order to earn items or perform specific tasks, and the Starter Pack characters alone will leave a lot of items out of reach.

This is a great game for my family, me and my son play and when we complete a level we can get a additional character to add to the game. We truly enjoy playing.

My kids love this item although despite getting it on sale it is a little expensive for plastic. It works great and as long as the kids are happy then so am I.

This game is a great way to spend an afternoon with my children. We get to build Lego bricks and then use them in the game. How can it get better than that?

Lego and X-box fun in one product! Lots of areas to explore and quests. Upgrading and rebuilding your vehicles is lots of fun. Highly addictive.
