Complicated for a child to play...for now unable to play it.

Unfortunately all these new LEGO dimension packs require large updates to be able to use fully. If you have unlimited data with your internet provider, then it’s no problem. If you’re on limited data or don’t have a high speed conection you will be frustrated

I gave up on it early because nothing comes assembled. Really, there are adults who enjoy these games, and they do not have the time to assemble legos. I mean ok for an hour with family, but not much long after

My kids love playing with this. They are huge Lego fans

If your a fan of the other Lego games that have been going since the PS2 days, then this is more of it. The main gripe is that if your just starting now, you won't find most of the expansions available and these hide a lot of the content in the game.

My son enjoys the game more than other portal games.

Not as popular in the household with my son. Since unlike other Lego titles, there is not a wealth of characters to unlock just by playing the game. You have to but extra figures to get them in the game.

My 9yr old LOVES Minecraft and I thought this would be fun to do together since we could pick all different characters. Boy was I wrong, we actually have NOT been able to get past the first task of putting the portal back together. If you are a professional gamer, you will like it - only reason why I give it 1 star because we cant play it and it is not very informative of how to get out of the level

My kids love it, but the characters tend to break easy so they lose interest.

My son played with it a couple of times but then he got bored with it.

Not awesome for younger kids. Decent overall. Would have been better to buy for maybe 8+

I like the game so far. Typical LEGO humor. First time Batman and The Scarecrow meet each other is priceless. This is really a video game AND LEGO sets. So you will be building a LEGO set like if you just bought a normal kit. I think that is how they justify the price tag. The cost is the real negative of this game. I may be wrong but if you are an achievement hunter you MAY be out big bucks just to 100% this title. It seems to me like you will need to buy a bunch of extra sets in order to find all of the hidden stuff. The other issue I have is that a lot of the puzzles require you to reposition the figures on the portal. I find this annoying and unnecessary, my 7 year old nephew loves it though. Losing pieces may be an issue as well for the toy part of this game, I dont think it matters as far as playing the video game part as everything is just in the base anyways. If you dont mind spending all the cash on this money pit and your kid likes building LEGO sets then buy it. If building sets isnt really their thing just buy one of the many other LEGO titles out there that have all the characters unlockable in game.

The game is lame. Reminds me of the game "Heroine Hero" from South Park. You're just running around endlessly; you have to buy all the added figurines to complete the game and get all achievements. Also, BB will not buy the game back.

Could not use 1st set. Batmobile didn't work returned for another. Batman did read. Just returned it for another game.

My kids have had all the Disney Infinity series. Warner Bros have taken what Disney started and have done it better. This game has been so much fun for my kids without having to buy tones of character add ons. My kids were ready for new characters and world's on Disney 3.0 a couple days after beating the starter pack for that one. Lego dimensions allows you to build before playing and throughout the game. Also the characters are the world's unlike Disney. If anyone thinks Disney Infinity is fun, this game will blow their minds with so much fun.
