Great game for the kids, story mode is on point. .

It's hard to imagine how the Lego video games still manage to impress after all these years (I purchased my first Lego game in 2010, it having been released a few years earlier). The games of yesteryear with quirky pantomimes have been replaced by full dialogue. How does it hold up? It's still great! Controlling not only human characters, but also playing as dinosaurs is a blast. The puzzles can be a little less than obvious, so you will sometimes wander aimlessly through a level, only to miss something right in front of you. Co-op play has been improved too. In older Lego games, the screen size was fixed, and an uncooperative partner hindered the gameplay; both players needed to go in the same direction to move through the stage. Now, split-screen branching off allows two players to explore different parts of the same stages. The screen rejoins once the players are close. All in all, a great brick experience! Be prepared spending lots of time to find all of the secrets in this gem.

Like the game, it follows the story very well, but I wished that the map was simpler or less complicated.

I purchased this Xbox game for my grandson's birthday and it was an instant hit, not only for him but for the whole family. They have enjoyed hours of fun with it. It is a great choice.

This game is a lot of fun, especially getting to play the dinosaurs. Seems longer and more immersive than other Lego games which is great. Definitely bit more difficult though.
