It is the lego version of Minecraft and a fun game to play. Not the typical Lego game play levels

We purchased this game for my 5 year old for his birthday. I played it with him and I tell you this game was boring and all about just building which lost his interest very quickly. He really love the Lego games but this one just sit on the shelf. I myself thought it was pretty boring. My two older sons play it for about 10 minutes and that's it.

My son now has Lego Dimensions as well as a few other Lego games and loves them all including this one

My 6yr old daughter enjoyed it a lot but got frustrated when we had to purchase more games to continue. But still liked the game.

Super fun game, love playing all the different worlds!

Lots of imperfect tools for building and spawning a metric ton of lego stories. Not too much of a problem and the variety of actors, weapons, and environments makes for a very enjoyable sandbox. The linearity of progression in collecting golden bricks is familiar to anyone who has played previous lego titles. Overall one of the best lego titles, and does a good job distinguishing itself from Minecraft, trove, terraria, etc
