I have had an ugly wall channel to hide my cords for years. The sticky back always came off the wall and I always had to reattached which always ended up being crooked. Luckily I bought a new TV and decided to take the plunge on one of these kits. I consider myself a avid DIYer but was worried about what was behind my old plaster walls and if I could run cords thru them. Luckily I had plenty of space and this kit was an easy install. Make sure to use the brackets to draw out your cut-outs and first drill each corner with a drill bit. Next use a jigsaw to cut those lines and pull the piece of wall out from the hole. Run your cords down the wall (a fish tape is a big help with this) and make sure they can pull thru the brackets and openings on the faceplates. Once you do all that, connect everything up and voila! You have the nice clean TV setup that looks like it was installed like a pro! Before and after pictures attached

This exactly what you need to get rid of all the wires making a mess below your tv, it’s very useful am not so much of a tech person so I have Geek squad staff help me install it for me, one of the staff Collin was super knowledgeable and knew exactly what to do in a few minutes I had a whole new look. I have got so many compliments from my company.

Works well and easy to install. Don't need to rewire anything so it's pretty basic. Best buy installed it while mounting my tv so it was pretty awesome if a deal.

This is the perfect product if you are mounting the tv on the wall and don't want all the cables visible. It has a cutting template as well. It is little more expensive than other products in the market but great quality.

Bought this in order to eliminate the the wires hanging from the TV. I could have paid hundreds of dollars for an electrician to run the wiring, per building code. However this setup meets building code plus is DIY... start to finish in under 30 minutes!

Great product to make TV installation look sleek and clean. There are no cords showing, but instead, they run into and behind the wall. Used with the slim TV mount, my setup looks beautiful - like a picture hung on the wall.

All wires are hidden. Had Squad install, its an amazing add on.

This product came with easy-to-follow instructions. The result: all cables hidden from sight. I will be purchasing another one of these for another room.

In a recent effort to update and mount all the TVs in new home, I purchased several of these kits. The Geek Squad members who did my installation let me know that this kit may not be the best to meet all my needs. As it turned out, I could only use one of the four that I purchased [due to fire safety structure of home and for one - just the positioning in terms of proximity from the outlet - this just didn't make sense. PRO TIP: check to make sure it's a good fit for your space - it works well for larger TVs mounted for gaming group viewing. I would highly recommend using the Geek Squad... they came, accessed my needs and made my purchases fit my space. You could possibly do it DIY - but the Geeks knew what they were doing!

This In-Wall Cable Kit is a clever way to hide cabling for your wall mounted TV. The only issue I had was I installed this kit in the Exterior wall of my house. Due to insulation and the fact my wall was less than 4 inches thick, I had to make a 1/2" frame in order for the recessed duplex to fit properly, (see the image below). I would buy this kit again.

Not too complicated to install. You do need to a drywall saw to do the job, so get one if your doing it yourself. Looks great when finished. No wires showing or jumbled up everywhere.

East to install. Does the job to hide cables through the wall.

Easy installation and works great. I found mine in the opened box section at Best Buy so it was $50. Im not sure i would pay full price, but it is a great product.

Very easy to install when installing it on an interior wall. We installed it on an exterior wall and had to deal with the insulation behind the wall which made installation a little more difficult but not impossible. The picture provided is from the exterior wall mount. This box makes a big difference in how your wall mounted television looks in your room. The look is nice and clean. No wires hanging.

This product is awesome. It hides the cables from sight making the TV seem as it doesn't even have cables. Truly Awesome.
