Good for AV cables NOT for AC
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This product is great if all you need to run up the wall is the HDMI cable(s) and/or audio cables. I needed to run the power cable up the wall as well and the 3 Prong AC plug would not fit through the bracket the mount plate attaches to so had to jimmy rig it and cut a notch to get it to fit. I had to remove the bristles that hide the hole because the metal bar they are attached to would not allow the AC plug to fit through so it sort of makes the whole point moot.

Look Great, but Hard to Install
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The way the backing to these plates are designed, means the piece that grabs the wall can break off easily. If (when) that happens, you have to carefully thread the screw in both pieces and then install. From there, it took a couple of tries to get the backing to "grab" the drywall backing to tighten the place. After install, the plates look great and work well, however. For the price and ease of use, I'd probably recommend and/or purchase again.

Keeps cables in place.

Multi purpose

I used one to pass a sub cable through the wall and the other to pass the optical and for my sound bar!

Only but this for the face plate!

I wish I could have purchased just the faceplate, but was not sold separately. Ended up trashing the bracket and using a standard drywall mounting bracket. Disappointed in legrand, as their equipment is typically good.
