Cheap product and design. Easily breaks. Does the job but shop around for a better alternative

These plates worked great fpr my project for hdmi.

This is a great product to hide wires from our TV.

The assembly of the parts was like a transformer constructing itself but not in a good way. I almost lost (inside the wall) the appendages that mount the plate to the inside of the drywall.

Exactly what i was looking for. Worked great. Happy

These do what they’re supposed to, just remember, don’t run a tv cord through the walls because they’re considered hot. That is all.

The mechanism that holds it securely inside wall broke as soon as I started tightening it. Leaves a gap between wall and plate now. I’ve used others that were much more secure and had a better design to tighten inside wall. Assembly wasn’t even easy to figure out with very basic instructions sheet.

These seemed like a quick easy way to hide wires from a wall mounted TV. I was wrong. Terrible directions came with this kit along with cheaply made parts. First of all, the template for cutting the drywall was almost too big for the receptacle. So when I place it in the hole I cut, it was very loose. The worst part was when using the plastic fasteners, they’re designed to snap off and flip up to look into the drywall. However the screws are so tight in the holes and the plastic too weak. So as it’s tightened, the plastic breaks and the flipper won’t secure to the drywall. This happened with 2/4 of the fasteners before I took a drill bit and drilled out the hole for the screw to not bind up. I ended up going to Home Deport for an open back gang box to mount the broken part to and rigged it up to work. I shouldn’t have to do this. I don’t recommend this at all. I’ve used other products from this brand that were much better. This one was very disappointing. I kept it only because I was already deep into the project with a hole in my wall and my new TV on the floor waiting to be mounted. Buy something else!

Tenplate provided for the inner plate is too large and since you end up cutting too big of a hole you cannot secure the inner plate to the wall. Both finished ends are not flush and stick out 1-2in from the wall

This could be a great item, but the template used to trace for the cutout is too big. The cutout is then too big so the part won’t overlap the hole. This makes it impossible to screw into the wall. The whole part fits into the cutout. Also, one of the connecting pieces is a little fragile.

Terrible instructions, I installed them in the living room but went with another brand on the bedroom.

I did not care for these, should have went with a more expensive option. They are made extremely cheap and the template does not create an accurate opening. They did not really mount to the wall so I had to get creative in order for them to stay in place. Would not recommend.

Actually returned this product not because it was bad, but because my tv installer had used the ones he had

Purchased this to hide the holes in the wall from the wires. Had to modify it a little, but it did the job.

It serves its purpose however, it's kind of flimsy. Would rather have a more solid box.

Opening not big enough for electric plug end to fit trru.

I was in a pinch and needed a 25' hdmi cable that day. works good but was $100

You get what you pay for. Broke both during installation following the single vague instruction card. The template for cutting the hole was too large and the cover doesn’t stay in the wall without some extra screws added.
