Great product

The Legrand in wall power kit was the answer. The installation is super easy. All the tools are provided (except the philips head screw driver). It has a circular saw to cut the exact circle in the dry wall to install the kit. It takes all of 15 mins to complete the entire process. Very satisfied with the product. Worth the money!!

Must have for Homeowners Insurance
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had purchased a different and cheaper version of this without the receptacle plug, One that you put holes in the wall to run wires through. When the Geek Sqaud came out they made a valid point that the one I purchased would allow the TV power cord through the wall but the wire on the plug was not rated for being inside the wall so they could not install it. They said if something happened that was related to the power cord being in the wall it may not be covered by insurance. It's a valid point so I upgraded to this more expensive one and had them install it. It provides peace of mind knowing that things were done safely.

Not a bad DIY home installer kit

We usually buy from distribution channels but in a pinch this did the job. It comes with hole saw & attachment handle for drywall cutting. the handle does not work so great, so we attached the bit to a drill. worked fine. It also comes will pushg/pull wire rods to snake your cables and the provided power cable. Great product! Will mosty likely buy again if needed!

Beware - Unexpected problem

However, I did not realize the problem associated with this socket kit. Note, the electrical connection is recessed. In the past that would not be a problem, but today many devices, such as my new TV, have a right angle between the prongs and the cord. The result, you cannot plug it in to this socket. I had to purchase an adapter for the TV plug to I could plug it into this kits socket. Beware - now all the details on what you may plug in to this recessed socket.
