You don't need an in wall soundbar to hide wires. Soundbars are very easy to install on the wall right under a TV that is on the wall without showing any wires. I didn't even open this product after I purchased it. I returned it because I realized that it required to make more holes in the wall to install it. The product is overpriced as well. Waste.

Although it is possible to mount the soundbar close to the TV and hide wires, in many cases such as installation with a full motion TV mount, a kit like this would be necessary to hide all of the wires. Too much trouble

All the tools you need come with it (except stud finder, because you don't want to start a hole on top of or too close to a stud.) Power plugs for the t.v. and soundbar and routes for other wires like HDMI, ethernet, optical, etc... Great purchase overall. I thought it was too expensive until I priced other options and saw what all came with it. $100 isn't all that bad. Plus, the molded plastic looks great if anyone happens to look behind your t.v..
