Awesome smart display

We have several echo devices, but I wanted to try something new and different. Glad I did. This display is very nice and looks great in the kitchen. One of the main reasons I got this is because of the integration with YouTube. I have Youtube TV and now I can just ask google to watch it while doing the dishes and it does it. My wife likes for the pictures scrolling and the recipes.

Amazing display horrible camera

My only complaint is the camera it’s a 5MP camera and doesn’t do well with a lot of background light it makes the person extremely dark. I own 4 of these Lenovo displays and they all suffered from the same camera issue. I would still recommend simply because of the value alone but be forewarned about the camera.

I have this and the Nest Hub Max. At more than 2-3x the price, the Nest is definitely better quality, but I wanted a small screen, and the smaller Nest Hub doesn't have a camera or adaptive screen. I am NOT a heavy user (just like to have my photos up, change the lights, set timers/alarms), but this has worked great for me.

Easy setup and operation. Screen is not the largest but OK for most things. Connects with all the Google apps and hardware. Does not verbally tell you of 'Reminders' but expect that is a Google problem not the Lenovo Smart Display. Reasonably priced and has fairly good sound for the size of the speakers.

The current behavior of the device is to verbally state "You have a reminder" and then display the reminder text. One workaround is routines where you can set your Good Morning or Start Drive to read your reminders out loud. Another option for verbally read "reminders" is the family bells function. If you set this up you will hear a bell sound at the specified time and day. After the bell sound the assistant will verbally read the title of the family bell. For example 'Take out the trash" at 7pm on Saturdays. The following are links for setting up routines and for family bells

The screen is big enough to see videos and make video calls. Setup is easy to follow as it's well explained. You can watch youtube videos, get jokes, recent news and anything else you can ask for just by mentioning the command phrase. Overall is a good product and a good assistance to have around the house.

I can easily use it to find a recipe and the touch screen allows you to skip right to the step you need. It is missing the extended listen feature though which I miss a lot considering the fact that all my other google smart devices have that feature. It does not stream netflix either just an fyi. Works well with youtube and youtube tv as well as hulu

She at Christmas time saw a commercial for the google home hub and thought she wanted one. After some reviews this one seemed to be the better option. The problem is the setup for use wasnt the easiest. We never really used it other than for weather updates and music streaming. We ended up selling this and getting an Echo Show instead

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I initially thought that I would get limited use out of this device but turns out that with the Youtube feature, timer, Podcast, weather, traffic, and recipes, I'm getting a lot of use out of this small device. I'm getting my money's worth and am happy with the device. Oh and the picture frame feature where you can cycle through thousands of pictures up on Google Photo is another bonus feature that I like very much.
