Great deal for this item. Screen is bigger than regular google smart display and easy to connect

Had the choice between the similar Google device and this one. I read some reviews that said thie Lenovo had a bigger speaker, which makes listening to music a little more enjoyable, so I bought it. The Lenovo has not disappointed! After it was set up and updated, it sits on the kitchen counters top and lets you read recipes while cooking. I would recommend this for anyone on the fence between this and the Google device.

Love the google assistant. The screen quality excellent. Love the ease of adding pictures.

Had this for almost 2 years. Still works and sounds great. But update support is non-existent. So any issues people had around launch still exist. No new futures, no new app support. Sames apps that were blocked at launch are still blocked. So truly know if you buy now, you are getting a outdated product. But still functions and works as advertised.

The display is sharp, the speaker is great. It works really well with my Google Assistant.

Top sound for a top price. Quality of sound is very good and pictures are very clear.

Bought this because of reasons, you know? Thought maybe in the kitchen as the command center of my growing smart home stuff. I found I didn't really stand in the kitchen watching youtube vids. Moved to my nightstand as a replacement for my long loved clock radio with white noise sounds. Wow! Who knew you could go to sleep to the sound of "private jet" or "box fan on low". Now I'm having fun!

love this item. I have them all over the house. It started with the 10 inch ones and moved on to the smaller ones around the house. Got them as family gifts. I like this one better then the smaller nest hub because of the camera on it that the smaller nest hub doesnt have. you have to buy the nest hub max to get the features the lenovo has

Replaced our google home in the kitchen with this. It's basically a Google home with a screen. The kids love that it's a digital picture frame when it's not being used. Having YouTube and movies and video calling are all features we love. The sound quality is similar to the regular Google Home, so don't buy it expecting audiophile sound, but it is good enough to fill our bigger kitchen.

This is a great Google smart home device. The screen is great sound isn't bad either.

The unit seems very well constructed and is an attractive item. However, one major issue for me is the display. In ambient mode, whether selecting the included pictures, any of the clock faces or Google (personal) photos - after a seemingly random amount of time the screen would go into either the night mode or sleep mode. I am not sure which mode it is. This happens when all lights are turned off, which I expect or when lights are on, such as bright kitchen lights where I had this unit. I could not resolve this issue with the software settings. Others have indicated the same frustration and I returned the unit for this reason. Other disappointments for me is the vertical (Portrait) configuration only orientates if you use Video Calling with Duo. You can't just place the unit vertically and leave it that way. Also I have noticed the following: I originally purchased this unit for a better sound quality with Pandora as compared to the Google Home Hub Smart - and it does provide better music fidelity, however by a small margin. The low frequency sound is a bit artificial to me. As compared to my Google Home Hub Smart display, the Google unit presents my family photos much, much better (I am a professional photographer). The frame of the Google unit is symmetric and this provides a much better "photo frame". Also, the ambient lighting screen automatic adjustment works wonderfully - the pictures actually look much closer to traditional framed photos - a markedly improvement over the Lenovo. I have also noticed that the Google Assistant software options are not as capable as the Google Home Hub Smart. For example, sound equalizer and screen settings to mention two things. Bottom line - I really wanted to like the Lenovo 8, but was left disappointed. I am sure that software/firmware updates in the future will resolve a lot of these issues, but for now I am staying with the Google products. My setup is modest - some lights, the usual morning and evening routines and general uses such as recipes directions, etc. I currently use two Google Home Hub Smart display units, one Google Mini for a bathroom, various smart outlets and some smart light bulbs. I think I will purchase an Apple Home Pod for music (works for me as I am primarily and Apple eco person but have been so impressed with the Google Mesh and Google Assistant/Smart systems!). I have noticed that the majority of people rate the Lenovo unit very high, so this is just one person's opinion!

Overall great unit, great screen, overall for size great speakers, google works great

This thing works great! I usually everyday and have so little complaints. It works like most and all google assistants. The only complaint I would say is that you can't hook up a Bluetooth speaker to it. So if you blow the build in speaker because you are playing music too loud, I can see how this would suck. With that being said, the speaker does work great.

After looking up many review on multiple smart displays, I am confident that I made the correct choice with the Lenovo. The large display makes viewing very easy, and the bamboo back looks great. This display has more functions than you could possibly need. It is a fairly big unit, so it could have its limitations if you dont have the space, but if you do, its definately worth the money.

This unit is large enough to make watching a video enjoyable, yet small enough to be unobtrusive on the kitchen counter. The grandchildren love watching videos on it at the kitchen bar while Gran prepares breakfast. After setting up the Google assistance app, turning on/off lights, adjusting my thermostat, locking my door, seeing who is at my front door can all be achieved by a simple command.
