The cookbook feature its great!I can even stream my YouTube and Facebook videos to it! The only drawback is that it sometimes won't recognize my voice or some commands are not programmed yet.

Lenovo 7" smart display

I have the nest hub 7" as well, I wanted this because it has a camera. The speaker isn't the greatest and I had some issues with audio quality during calls. Also I don't like the little Lenovo logo on the bottom right corner, but it isn't that big of a deal.

In regards to the audio dropouts we recommend ensuring the device is in good working range of your router. We also recommend ensuring you are connected to the 2.4 GHZ band of your router . If your issue remains please perform a factory reset by holding down the “Volume + and – ” buttons on top of your device for 8 Seconds. I like the design element of it as well...althou I wish they had more color options for the wood color on back...and yes it's real wood!

No web browser

When I try to look up recipes outside of you tube it does not do well. I bought this assistant so I could view YouTube and also access the web for quick questions etc. without using my phone or laptop. I recently bought the New Amazon Echo Show 2nd generation and it is exactly what I was looking for. I can watch videos, access recipes quickly and also browse the web if needed. On the google assistant I cannot choose specific videos that I want to watch unless it is on the display. That is very frustrating. Hopefully Google will update this unit with a web browser. I feel like I just wasted a bunch of money. I have 3 of them!
