Poor quality with expensive price

It's Lenovo new product so, I just bought to replace my Google Home Max with display. When I replaced it, I disappointed with its poor quality. Sound quality does not good, poor build quality....all the service is same as my Google Voice Assistant on the smartphone!! I regret to spend $199 to buy this stuff, if I bought tablet, it will much cheaper with same functionality. With these feature, product quality is not good as I expected. I will refund it and try to wait other brands product.

Fails at everything you want it to do
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Three strikes and you're out: 1) The speaker is not as good as the Google Home smart speaker. It sounds more tinny and distorts the bass, even on classical music. 2) There is a bug in the current firmware that prohibits making calls out. I use the Google Home in my office extensively to make calls. 3) It loses the cast from Youtube, Youtube TV, and FuboTV constantly. I never have this problem with chromecast plugged into my television or monitor. It's going back to BestBuy. Not impressed.

Many independent reviews consider the Lenovo Smart Display sound to be superior to a Google Home. We are sorry to hear that you are having some problems with calls. The Lenovo Smart Display is designed to make calls in and out with Google Duo.You may want to run the latest update to help out with this. Issues with speakers. No support from Lenovo

I called Lenovo support and they wanted me to pay to return the item to them to get it repaired and wait for them. I don’t think I should have to pay to get a product repaired. The tech support person immediately said that it was a defective unit. Going to look to just get the Google Home Hub instead.

Purchased this for my wife for Christmas and it would not power on. And yes we tried a different outlet. Not what I would expect for a Lenovo product. Now we have to drive 150 miles to return to Best Buy. Thanks Lenovo!!!

Please make sure that the power cord is plugged in all of the way in the back of the Smart Display, by pushing it in until it will not go in any further. Terrible Product

We recommend re booting it by simply unplugging it and then plugging it back in. If this does not work , please contact our customer support @ 877-453-6686.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having some problems setting up your Lenovo Smart Display. Please follow these steps:
a) Take the Lenovo Smart Display out of the box and plug in the power adapter on the back side.
b) Download the “Google Home” app on your phone/tablet and sign in on your Google account.
c) The app will show you a new Lenovo Smart Display is nearby. Click to set it up.
d) Follow the instructions inside the application until the setup is completed.
Then you can start your conversation with “Hey Google”. The average set up time will take approximately 5 to 8 minutes.
