I had dropped my laptop and needed to purchase something inexpensive yet reliable. The screen is kind of small for my taste and the picture and sound quality are not the best either, but it is excellent for watching Netflix and checking emails/ social media.

This google chromebook I choose over my 900.00 DELL laptop. That is insane! But it is true! Chrome books r on a whole differ operating system but no extra virus protect to purchase, it is built in...Fast, no pop ups, no ads, long battery life...Perfect! I'm trading all my 4 laptops in to get a chromebook!

He likes it a lot! For every day tasks it beats spending money on a regular laptop. First time buying a Lenovo, but I was curious about the brand, having owned an IBM PC100 back in highschool.

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.several years ago, MediaTek CPU's were slower than the cheapest AMD or Intel chips at that time, Back then, I would have said, spend the extra money and get an Intel chip. However, today; it was a pleasant surprise to see that today's MT8173C "big-little" chip works just fine; and 4GB of memory is plenty. IMHO this chromebook is fine for 99% of anything you are likely to want to do on a chromebook; performance/speed is actually very good, display is reasonably good/clear/colorful, memory is fast, blue-tooth, wifi, and so on all fine, good enough. Sure it doesn't have 4k video or TB's of memory; but it's absolutely fine for a chromebook, and it was super cheap. If it was stolen or dropped on concrete; I'd just buy another. for what it is; highly recommended.

In the end I have no concerns and this Lenovo is great. Yes the screen size is smaller but you hardly miss it and I am impressed with how it handles. We only use it for teaching (especially at home now) so it works perfect for that. Would recommend for anyone

For this price I dont see another product competing with it.
