Not a fan of the OS of a chrome book and that the keyboard isn't a standard keyboard with a caps lock, but other than that it gets the job done.

To scroll your screen with a Chromebook, press or tap the touchpad with two fingers. You can also press Alt, then click with one finger. Place two fingers on the touchpad and move them up and down to scroll vertically, or left and right to scroll horizontally. To go back to a page you were just on, swipe left with two fingers.

Google Docs is completely compatible with Microsoft Office Programs and this is a free service through the Google Server. If you must have the actual Microsoft Office Programs, you can purchase Microsoft Office 365 for this Chromebook at the Google Play Store.
