Posted .This system should be a fast system with its Core I-3 processor and 4GB of RAM. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults.

It takes entirely to long to search and transition from various programs. I paid more and trusted advice of store employee and went with this brand. I don't like it at all. I should have chose the hp version. I chose this instead based on input from the staff at Best Buy and now...I'm stuck.

Screen 7/10 Sound 5/10 Keyboard 5/10 (shift key is in horrible location) Speed 4/10 I was looking to upgrade from my 6 year old computer, and I have to say, this is much slower than the one I own right now. Do yourself a favor and just upgrade your current one or buy a better one. Will be returning this laptop.

One would think that the best buy reps would know that and inform the buyer up front. The laptop can not be used unless it is hooked up to the Ethernet cable. Defeats the purpose of having a laptop. It is very very slow.

Posted .We have not heard of any issues with Verizon WiFi connectivity with this system. There may be wireless LAN driver updates for your specific system. Follow the link below to look for new driver updates for your specific system. You can also run diagnostics from the Lenovo site as well. As always, be sure to create a restore point on your system before you make any changes. You can do this by just typing "restore point" in the search window within Cortana and follow the link to create a restore point. Here is the link:

Posted .With regard to the speaker volume, you might try going in to Properties for sounds/speaker. For Playback, find the Enhancement Tab. Find Equalizer. Change setting to Powerful.

This was the slowest computer I have ever experienced- my 10 year old computer works faster than this thing. Don't waste your money, it'll only aggravate you. Needless to say, I returned it.
