Needed to get my parents a new PC to replace their 6 year old desktop. They dont need much, just a PC that they can Facebook, check their email and shop online and thats it. This one cuts the mustard.

Bought the laptop for my 11 year old. Very easy to use and a good bang for the buck.

This is a GREAT laptop. Light, precise, full of internal 1TB HD space, fast display rate, easily manageable for the kids homework, and powerful to handle games and frame rates needed to keep the Mine craft and Steam members happy. Small suggestion with placement of the enter key..But Huge display bright colors and extreme portability knock the Lenovo powerhouse out of the park! Highly recommended.

This Laptop was bought for my Father in law, and he doesn't need many windows open at once, which make this computer perfect for him. He also doesn't need Office on this computer because he doesn't use it. He uses this Computer to Surf the Net, Pay his bills, Read emails, ect... So as long as you only need one to two windows or applications open at one time this computer is perfect and super Fast.

Fairly easy set up once customer support was involved. Nice basic unit. Does all the basic functions but we didn't need high end graphics. We bought it for online college courses and it's fine.

Great laptop for the price I just decided I wanted one with a faster processor. As far as getting this item for everyday use it think it's a good product and would recommend if looking for a bargain.

So far so good. Good pc for basic functions and web surfing. Smaller size keyboard can be annoying at times, especially the right shift key (much smaller in size). Other than that, no complaints.

I was pleasantly surprised by this little laptop. It has the power to run the Sims 4 and hums along quite nicely. I am not very tech savvy, but I know when something is working well, and this does.

Love our new computer! Easy to use and fast. Definitely would recommend to friends.

We did our research at home, having in mind that a teenager would be the primary user. I can say that it is more than enough for what they usually need: web browsing, office software, e-mail usage, etc. Taking into account the laptop capabilities and price range, it is indeed a great choice. If you are in need of high performance, say multitasking or even gaming, this laptop is not for you.

Got this for my 8yr old daughter so she could practice her coding. It's a little bulky but the price I paid for the specs is worth it. More than enough or to do the things she wants to do on it.

This is a great laptop for run of the mill daily use. Everything is working well and the setup was easy. I have a couple of picky complaints. There are no usb ports on the right side of the machine. If using a corded mouse, etc., it has to be drug all the way around for a right handed user. That seems a little odd. Also , the right shift key is undersized to accommodate a page/up/down key which is not needed. The different size and placement of the key interfere with traditional touch typing. The battery life is also not quite as good as I would have thought. Overall though I am happy with the purchase. Especially as my last laptop (a Toshiba), never worked right even out of the box.

Fast processor, huge memory, but the sound system really stinks. The speaker is on the bottom of the laptop, so if it's resting on anything, you can't hear music or video, even with volume control at max. EXTREMELY disappointed, because I specifically told the salesman that I was buying it for my daughters who listen to music and watch video on it. So now they have to carry around a bluetooth speaker with it so they can play their music. Hampers portability.

laptop was easy to set up nice size, fits in cases nicely. my daughter enjoys it.

We bought this laptop for our daughters for Christmas. This computer was a great value for the price. They play their games, email, use social networks, etc. we haven't heard any complaints!!

I bought this laptop for my family for general use. It is not equipped to handle gaming or things of that nature, however, it is fine for surfing and such. Good laptop for a low cost budget.

Was looking for a budget friendly laptop to replace my old laptop that died. So far, this one has been great. Have only had it a few months so I can't speak to its durability or long-term performance, but thus far it's been excellent for my simple needs (internet access and digital photo importing). Only negative is that it doesn't have touch-screen capability but maybe that's a good thing as its absence minimizes fingerprints on the screen. Buy it from Best Buy and you get 6 months of Geek Squad support and a price match guarantee.

I will put in an i5 processor because an i3 is much to slow however for the price this is a decent laptop. I am not a fan of all the pre installed software but other than that it's awesome.

I purchased this laptop for my 12 year old daughter. She uses it for her school work. It has helped her to score straight A's in all her subjects. She was able to do research and write reports, calculate mathematical problems and get her lessons and grades from her teachers through websites on the internet. It's the best thing I could have ever given her to raise her grades.
