If you are a good typist and plan to use this for word processing I would stay away from this model due to odd key layout on right side of keyboard. If you are going to use for other tasks, such as email, internet searches and the like it would be hard to beat this computer at this price point.

Posted .With regard to the right shift key issue you mention, there is a free software APP called KeyTweak that may help you. You can switch the key functions of specific keys on your keyboard with this software, so you could change the right shift key with the key you hit in its place. Just Google search "KeyTweak" and you will find articles about what the software does and you will find the download location for this free APP.

Gave it to my step-son (age 13) for Christmas and he set it up himself. Seems to like it but it's still early in his ownership. Has all the features a kid needs on a beginner computer except for gaming. This computer would not be good for a heavy gamer but good for homework and other applications.

Good product for price

Needed something affordable and basic to check and send email. To do some excel and accounting work. Works great for those purposes. DO NOT expect to have a great experience with music or video. This laptop is not made for that. Good laptop for the price you pay. Read reviews before you buy folks, don't buy then complain because it doesn't perform like an 900$+ laptop!

This one is lightning fast. I find nothing wrong with it. When I want really nice sound I use a blue tooth speaker with it.
