It's overall very sturdy and last through a lot of long hour use without freezing up or getting hot. The computer can also handle multiple games at once ... bigger game downloads just don't over due it since it's not really used for such purposes (not a technical gaming computer) but can hold a few big ones... good buy ;)

You can do this in the control panel, in the power management category on your system. Select a more conservative power management setting to extend battery life.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went to the store twice to speak to a Best Buy professional and read tons of reviews before making my purchase. I bought the laptop for my mom for Christmas to replace her old desktop. She only uses the computer for general web surfing, photos, and email. Within three weeks of very light use, the wifi icon displayed a yellow caution with "!" In the center. She brought me the laptop and after running a few tests I received the result that "ip address wasn't valid". I found this odd as I had tried to connect through several different wifi providers. After a few hours and reasearch I was able to find instructions on how to correct the problem. The steps were quick, easy (ipconfig/repair), and it did fix the issue. However just a day later I attempted to go online and the problem had returned. I followed the same steps once more and the issue was again corrected. I'm giving this device 3 stars because if my mom has to complete these actions each time to gain access to wifi, then there is a real problem.

With regard to the WiFi issues you mention with your device, there may be WiFi driver updates for your specific system. Follow the link below to look for new driver updates for your specific system. You can also run diagnostics from the Lenovo site as well. As always, be sure to create a restore point on your system before you make any changes. You can do this by just typing "restore point" in the search window within Cortana and follow the link to create a restore point. Here is the link:
