The generous amount of storage was a selling point. There is also no lag when I am surfing the internet. The one minus is that the speaker quality is not very good, which I read in other reviews. I didn't feel that mattered since I don't watch movies or listen to music on the computer. Earphones solve the issue for me. Very happy with this purchase.

Wish sound was on the top or sides instead of bottom front. I do NOT like the keyboard layout but all makes and models had the same one.

Returned it and bought this one for a few bucks more. Much more solid feel and it has fit her needs perfectly

Great laptop/main computer for a casual/gaming use

It was on sale and I was just able to afford it. I bought it online and was pleased with the process. It has been a great purchase for her. My sister is not especially technically minded and doesn't like the finger- pad, but we bought a wireless mouse which has made using the computer much easier. She is very pleased with it and so am I.

Please mention to your sister that with regard to the touchpad, she can make adjustments to the touchpad in her system settings. She can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom left of her Windows 10 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. She can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. She can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad.
Lenovo Laptop

So far we have owned 3 Lenovo laptops and all three have been trouble free. The keyboard is great. I prefer a number pad and this one has it. The body of the laptop is sturdy and tight. So opening the lid feels secure. This one doesn't turn into a tablet, but watching movies or videos is still a pleasure with the 15" screen.

Great for middle schooler

He has only had minor issues with it, mostly corrected by disabling some of the bloatware that came pre-loaded.
