I did research all laptops at Best Buy and this one had awesome reviews! She talks to you when you set it up initially I enjoyed that feature. Key board is perfect and love my clear high definition screen! Plus, I got it on sale and made the whole experience at Best Buy so easy I purchased it online and received a text once it was ready for pick up I got the laptop and was done in less than 5 minutes! Love my choice and love Best Buy in Frisco TX they treat you right! Life long customer now!!

VERY slow to start

However, I did expect it to start and be relatively speedy the first time I used the computer... it takes forever to start up, forever to open anything (even a web browser, let alone Word or anything). It moves just as slow as my five year old laptop, which was heavily used as I was in college when I got it. Besides that, it’s an easy to use laptop; it uses windows and it works, so I guess I can’t hate it too much. I just expected it to be a bit faster, that’s all.

Posted .The Lenovo IdeaPad 130-15 should boot from off to the Windows 10 desktop in lest than 40 seconds. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

I'm a fast typist; sometimes have to stop typing and wait for it to catch up. Battery life is poor; less than 4 hours on a charge. Overall good value for the price. 3+ out of five stars

Good Laptop for Basic work

Was a little slow so I did a clean install and cleared out the few bloatware from 3rd party and Microsoft. So far she is happy. Could not beat the black Friday price.

Will be used wireless primarily with limited internet use so this basic system fits perfect. Keyboard has nice feel and graphics are clean so easy to read. Looking forward to good use for the price. It's got a great, well reviewed processor. Really good LED screen. All the standard usb, dvdr and whatnot. Even has bluetooth, which is a nice feature. And a terabyte of hard drive space.
