This exceeded my expectations. Beautiful resolution. Easy to use. Just big enough for tablet mode and as a laptop. My 3-year old can use it with ease in either mode.

This is the worst computer that I've ever owned

This is the worst computer that I've ever owned. It is excruciatingly slow. Whether I attempt to use an app, or try to access information on the internet, this piece of junk refuses to move at an acceptable rate. For example, on my HP desktop, it takes less than five seconds to open Excel or Word. This Lenovo takes between one to two minutes to open those apps. When I tried to contact Lenovo customer support to ask them for help, I discovered that they don't provide either a telephone number or email address for contacting them. Instead, they lazily force you to use their “support” website. I did this, and ran all of the diagnostics, scan and updates that were available. It was a great waste of time, because the Lenovo remains as slow as ever. I will never, ever purchase

This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue still continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help.

First, try using some canned air to clean out any possible debris that may be trapped under the key. If that does not correct the issue, it may be a software update issue. There is a 30-day trial of Microsoft Office 365 included as part of the Windows 10 operating system. In order to keep the program active after the trial period, you will need to purchase a product key. You will not need to download any additional software.

Great school laptop

This is a welcome change, as they are now able to log in without any connection or software delays. And if we need to bump the speed, it’s an easy upgrade on the RAM.

I like the 14 inch size - it is still easily carried, but more compact than a bigger laptop. It has the basic features I need, plus extras. I feel it was a good purchase for a reasonable price.

What using for

Now reason being is I was going to carry this a lot. And by no means is this lite. I go by the carry with one had weight. The screen touch is a little slow but I am use to a tablet so that was fine. The hard drive is a good size for an internal but a little slow. Now you will only notice this if in a hurry for it to boot up. For the price this unit works great if just need a computer to do basic things.
