Great laptop for the price

It took a couple hours, and I ended up with a virus before I could activate the security software. Not what I would consider an out of the box start typing device. I'm still not a huge fan of the whole windows changes. I still think XP was one of the best versions ever made. No problems with the device itself, except for the occasional accidentally bumping the touch pad while typing, and losing the curser.

Great price point if anything happens your not out a ton of money. Get it you won’t be sorry. As far as the reviews about the enter/shift button doesn’t bother us.

Day one, plugged it in, turned it on, and it spent the next 9 hours updating Windows 10. Day two, tapped it awake, and it began asking me questions, which morphed into another set of updates. Day three, you guessed it, more updates. If you love updates, this is the computer for you!

Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 screen. Type "Control Panel" in the search window. Select Control Panel from the choices. Type "Power" in the search window in the upper right corner of the Control Panel Window. Select "Edit Power Plan". There you will see settings for both Plugged In and On Battery. Adjust the screen brightness slider to your screen brightness preference, then click "Save".

The laptop is light weight and easy to charge. The one big problem is that it is a bit slow and once 10 windows are open it becomes really hard to close them. And almost acts like it's about to crash but other than that it is ok.

Posted .Unless you have more than five windows open at once, there should not be any delay when closing open windows. Be sure any programs you have installed are compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults.

Posted .This is an entry level light use system. The AMD A6 processor and 4GB of RAM are a light use configuration, not intended for multi-tasking. If the system seems to be slowing down, close unused programs and/or windows if online, to improve performance.
