I bought two of this model laptop when it was $179 Black Friday special. When you get this laptop run Windows 10 update to get the Fall Creators update 1709 installed. Also run Lenovo Companion to update Wifi drivers. You will then have to go AMD website to download driver scanner and get the latest video driver installed. Laptop will run pretty great after all that. Only negative is battery life. 4 hours is max. I leave this plugged in most of the time though so not a factor for me. My kids play Robolox on one and it performs great.

Great size, works well, was shipped promptly and a great buy! Very happy with this purchase. Another family member now wants one as well. Offers many features with good price.

Even thought I got a Black Friday deal on this laptop, I find it kind of slow when loading programs. It does not works very well when loading several app. Also very low volumen,but it is light and it has the main connectors. Will see how long before it crashes,still test running it, but still a good price for simple usage.

I like the design all black looks nice in my personal opinion. Big screen for the price can't really ask for more. Performance is decent and it's good for school, but would not recommend for advanced applications such as video editing. So far Microsoft Office applications work just fine and web browsing has been good too.

The laptop is a little slow but it works well. I purchased it for my son who likes to play Roblox and has homework that is required to be done online. For a child, I would say this is a good option. For adults who visit multiple websites and need to have multiple windows open to work (or play), choose something else.

We bought this computer for my 5 years old son, he does virtual school. He loves it, it is very easy to use, light and it has a big screen.

I scored this Doorbuster on Black Friday for $179. Surprisingly, it feels like a solid laptop - not cheap. I reloaded Windows once I got it to get rid of the preinstalled bloatware. It’s got 4GB of RAM which I will upgrade to 8 but even still, it’s plenty fast for what I need it for. I mainly wanted an inexpensive laptop just to get accustomed to Windows 10 as I am primarily a MAC user and my other laptop still runs Windows 7 so I wanted to keep my skills up on both OS’s. I’m very happy with it.

Bought this computer on Black Friday for a great price. It exceeds my needs and I would recommend it for most computer users. Plenty of Ram and Storage for day to day use. Would look into upgrading if I did photo/video editing or computer gaming.

Computer works great for intended use. Mostly checking email and reviewing social media accounts was reason for purchase. Computer has plenty of storage and could be use for more advance use. Its small and easy to carry around for online access

Got this laptop for my dad, who is technicologically challenged. It has all of the basic functions he needs to go online and do basic word processing. Great bang for your buck, would recommend for a light user.

Bought this laptop for my son for school and he absolutely loves it. (I loved the price.) He uses it daily for school needs but also for social media and streaming movies. Waited some time before writing this review to verify that the laptop sufficiently meets his needs.... and it has above and beyond our expectations.

It fits the bill. We have a mac laptop that is fast, easy to use and great to surf the web. Problem is sometimes you just need a IBM-like, Microsoft lap top to complete some work tasks, send files that are compatible, etc. I will rarely use this computer to surf the web or shop on-line. Most of the time I use a mouse but without it, I'm not a fan of the touchpad. It works, performs the purpose that I need it for and has decent memory. The price tag is what attracted me.

This laptop is a great deal for the price. My expectations were low at this price point. I was pleasantly surprised by performance and features for the money. Would recommend this to friends.

I have purchased several computers in the past paying more, because I figured I needed more. I was just wasting money. This basic, well worth the money is all I needed. It’s somewhat easy to navigate, even going from windows 7, my favorite of all times to windows 10. Buying the mouse with this computer allows and makes it easier to use some of the windows 10 features.

If you need a basic laptop to get your child online, this is a great choice. It has enough RAM and storage, so it will provide a good starting point for your computer needs.

I purchased this Laptop to be used with my Goto Telescope mount and for astro imaging! When you first load it up it is a bit confusing to set up and get running. So many unnecessary steps but that is Windows 10 and Microsoft for you. I still think Windows 7 home or pro is a lot faster by far. That is a matter of opinion and many argue against me on it. Just from experience that's all! I also ran the set up and MSCONFIG and there is so much stuff running that does not need to be running. You can literally turn off like 80% of those services and this will be a speed demon. Once it is set up; you will want to speed it up a bit by uninstalling some useless software and apps this machine has loading up. You also want to unplug everything from the task-bar because it does slow down this already slow laptop. Now that I did all of that; it runs a lot faster. Now to figure out how to upgrade from 4 to 8 GB of memory. If you are looking for a beast kind of Laptop then skip over this machine because this is a basic Laptop for basic needs and functions. Yeah its great for movies, Great for photo editing. Not Great for gaming unless it is arcade style games or old 8 bit Atari Style Games from like the 80's. :) Its not good for video editing either. The reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars was because the quality is poor. The memory can be upgraded to 8GB but no memory cover on the bottom so who knows how to upgrade it. It is very very thin and if you press your hand on the top cover while closed; there's a great chance you will destroy the display. It is poorly made that if you tossed it on your bed; it would still probably break so be extra careful when handling it. Its that chincy! I am surprised though because Lenovo does make some really decent laptops. However given the price this is what you can expect for that price range. Still not bad for that price. Overall it gets the basic function jobs done. Like I said I am using it just to control my computerized Telescope and capture images. Basic Stuff! I will still recommend it for those looking for a basic laptop. I bought it on the Cyber Deals for 197.00. However it is back up to 279.00 so I would wait for it to drop down again to 200.00 since 279.00 is a bit steep for this now. What they could have improved on. Easier access to upgrade memory. Better power supply and battery. The frame could have been better. The side ports should have better spacing because its hard to plug two things in at once. If you use a USB device its best you use the wireless function since trying to plug in a Ethernet cable and USB are so tight together. Lastly Windows 10. I do not know what Microsoft was thinking when they sat down and said lets make this operating system. Again its a matter of opinion but I think Windows 10 is horrible. However I broke down because of the price of this machine. :) Anyhow I will still recommend it to anyone in the market of an inexpensive Laptop!

Having used this Laptop for the past few weeks I can say that once all the lengthy updates were finally installed, the Computer functions quite well. Though not lightening fast the Laptop performs daily tasks and most operations very efficiently and effectively considering the low price of this device. It offers a lot of added features rarely found on Computers in this price range. Speakers are way too low keyed yet do offer a great sound just the same. If you are not looking for a rapid firing Laptop, I do recommend this Computer to everyone for everyday use. A Good Price to Quality balance.
