I really like my new laptop. The screen quality is very nice and it very user friendly.

This is the best computer I have found at this price range. The tech specifications are unbelievable, especially the 8GB physical memory and 1TB hard drive. The CPU (AMD, instead of Intel) is 1.8 GHz which is more than fast enough. A lot of other computers with similar specifications will cost almost twice as much! I also like the fact that this computer comes with DVD drive. Nowadays most cheap laptops don't have DVD/CD drives any more. After using it for some time, I cannot be happier with my purchase. The color on the screen is vivid and the sound is also great when I played YouTube videos and a movie DVD. You will like the fact that bluetooth is enabled on this computer, which makes it easy to transfer files or photos between computers or cell phones. Before I bought this computer, I almost settled with a Toshiba laptop os similar price. But, after I read that most users complained about its terrible Wifi issue, I ran away from it. In comparison, this laptop has very strong Wifi signal even with a long distance from the router. This is something very important to me because I like to sit outside a lot when the weather is nice. I actually bought two of this computer (one for my son who is in 6th grade). So, the weight of the computer is a big factor. Fortunately, this computer is relative light at only 4.6 lbs. Lastly, I would like to share my comments on the battery. I have done testing the battery life twice. With normal use, the battery lasted more than 6 hours. To protect the battery, I would recommend that you set the battery in "conservation mode" by using the Lenovo Energy Manager. Just Google it and you will find the details on how to do it.
