    It's a nice second PC

I bought this for school. I have a Mac Book but for what ever reason the school I am taking Project Management classes through is PC only and Parallels is too slow to run Windows 8.1, the full MS Office Suite and Dreamweaver - I am also taking Web Design. I'm not sure if I can run the entire Adobe Suite on this but I don't really need to as it is on my Mac along with games and any other fancy stuff. I would recommend this for a college student (as long as he or she doesn't need to lug it around because its huge) or any one needing a basic home PC or like me a second PC and doesn't want to spend real money on it. The keyboard rocks and the screen is big enough to watch TV on. The Snapfish thing - which as a Mac person I had not heard of - can be removed in 30 seconds. Lenovo has an app to do it or you can remove it manually via the control panel.

Read the following article and checked out the laptop that I bought this week from BestBuy.com. Sure enough, it's infected. While the software is removable, do you really want a computer where the first thing you have to do is remove a malicious program? http://www.pcworld.com/article/2886278/how-to-remove-the-dangerous-superfish-adware-presintalled-on-lenovo-pcs.html

    Okay..but slow

First of all it's an OKAY computer if your using it for work or anything BUT the internet. Otherwise it's pretty bad, I read the reviews beforehand after it was suggested to my father by his uncle for me (I'm fourteen, this is my first laptop) Most said it was a little slow but not unbearable. I thought it would be fine considering me and my father shared a notebook for 5 years (it was old) and I always thought that computer was slow(since it was the only one i'd ever used)... BUT BOY WAS I WRONG! This laptop is even SLOWER then a laptop that was bought 5 years ago!!!! and has been dropped MANY MANY TIMES! it was probably on it's 6th hard rive and it still ran faster then this! The only reason we bought a new one cause after like 5 years, and many drops, and hardrives it finally just stopped working, but before it did it still ran faster then this! It is a fine laptop if you arent surfing the web or using internet. but if you are which is mostly what every person buys a laptop for its slow .

This has been a solid Lap Top to date. I've had it going around from construction site to construction site without any issues

We like the computer very much. It's easy to use, and make changes to; and it's relatively light weight. We like the fact that it boots up very quickly, has 8GB of RAM, and a 1 TB Hard Drive, and a DVD drive.

my 11 year old Dell laptop is better

bought 6 weeks ago and didn't remove from box for 2 weeks. Took 2 days to try to set it up and noted several problems. Called Lenovo and they tried for 2 hours remotely to fix but they ended up asking for it back for repair. Got it back 10 days later and it still has the same issues: font in many cases is shadowed/blurry, font colors appear grey not black, colors are way off, contrast is poor. Beyond that: the right/left click buttons are smaller than your fingers and have to be depressed deeply, the cursor locks up if you stop moving it across the screen while holding left click. I have an 11 year old Dell that doesn't have any of these issues; too bad it is so slow and out of date. I bought this because Best Buy didn't have the Toshiba or HP I really wanted in the store.

Lenovo laptop loaded with superfish malware

I bought the Lenovo 15.6 laptop in mid February. It came loaded with the Superfish program that has been found to enable hackers to easily introduce malware on computers My laptop is now infected. I went to the store near lakeline mall to return it but they wouldnt take it back or fix it, saying that it had been dropped. Very rude employees and especially the manager.. No more business from me.
