I am not crazy about windows 8, would like my earlier version instead. Can't wait for 10 to get released. The computer itself is wonderful.

Buyer beware - I purchased this laptop on July 7. That night was infested with a virus that was caused by McAfee. Removed McAfee and installed Webroot. System was running slow at times. Thought it was because of Windows 10 update and thought it created a lot of things running in background. Anyway, was running a bowling tournament and the morning of day 2 of tournament laptop decided it was done. It wouldn't boot up at all. Motherboard crashed. Best Buy Geek Squad, Dan, was very helpful. He realized I had gotten a "lemon" and even though I was past the 15 day return window, he replaced it for me on the spot. So far, the new one has been working like a champ. No complaints.

This is a great laptop. It had everything that I was looking for with this product. What made this deal even better was that the price was much lower than I had anticipated.

Perfect for me. I use for play mostly but it's perfect for all my needs. It's fast, user friendly and the perfect size. I just can't get used to the tablet thing yet; this was an inexpensive alternative to a new high end laptop.. Again, perfect for all my computer needs. Price was perfect. Upgrade to the touchscreen model though, for approx. $100 it's worth it in the long run.

this laptop is great for the dollar, works great for all games. Runs quickly

I bought this laptop for my mom as she needed something to use in her new career in teaching. I set it up for her and surprisingly I get very fast performance, beyond what I expected. It's not a super fast laptop compared to my Sony Vaio, but it does provide an acceptable level of performance from a user like me.

A great unit for the money, I bought it for my wife for Mother's Day. The unit performs as expected. I did have to get rid of (uninstall) all the garbage programs that every manufacture has deemed necessary for the end user. But that is no different than any other unit on the market. I will buy again when needed!

This laptop does everything that I need it to do. It has great features, and a speedy processor. Works great with the windows 10 browser. Great product for the price.

Like the memory, speed and hard drive storage for the price. Screen resolution and battery have surprised me with what I would say are better than expected performance.

Bought it on sale. It has alot more for the money than any competitors. Got it for my wife, then turned around and bought 2 more for ny kids. Everybody is still very happy with theirs!

I've only owned this for a few days, but so far it's great. Upgrading to Windows 10 was easy. The laptop resumes from sleep mode very quickly. It's lightweight. The battery seems to last for about 3 hours. Good purchase.

This pc does an effective job on basic tasks. The price was under $250 so if it was ruined, no biggie. As a back-up it does a great job. Texture is plastic, yet solid.

Although the computer is only a few weeks old, the touch pad keeps locking up. This is very annoying but I don't know if it will fix itself or not. When this happens, you need a mouse or can left click to move the arrow.

Laptop quality is above average. Windows 8 out of the box had issues, but when updated 100% via windows update, the OS ran much better. Trackpad is on par with other laptops at this price point (meaning not that great).

I bought two of these laptops for my family. They work great with Windows 10. They are fast and lightweight.

Purchased the laptop to replace a older hp model. So far very pleased with the unit it is performing very well. Use it for playing WOW and other games and no problems with the video card. It also handles Microsoft word and excel.

The laptop works well. It's super lightweight and fast which is a plus.

I am pleased with the PC, but am finding transitioning from XP to Windows 8 a real challenge. The Geek Squad was able to reset the default screen to a normal desktop display which has been very helpful. Also, my screen background keeps changing to black which is very difficult to read. This was corrected by the Geek Squad but reverted to black with the next login.

This is a great computer for my 9 y.o. daughter. She mainly uses it for her homework and to play games. My only complaint is that the battery drains quicker than I would like but just plug it in and she is good to go!
