For the price you cannot go wrong with this laptop. It ran great until I downloaded Windows 10 on it, after that the laptop response time was not as quick. Overall the laptop performs well.

I wanted a computer that would do the basic laptop tasks and this computer filled that need and more. The only thing I am worried about is the battery life. I will let you know how it lasts.

Good interface and speed, screen resolution is also good. Excellent computer for home and daily purpose.

The computer that I purchased was not a name brand BUT is as good or better then a higher priced one. The same features on this that I was looking for and it works great and easy to use.

I was in the market for an inexpensive yet functional Windows-based system and decided to pickup this budget laptop after it went on sale and after reading all the positive reviews on it. So far no problems or issues after using it for a month. It met all the requirements I was looking for (portability was not one of them). It is fairly lightweight and thin considering it's size , but beware that the 15.6in screen limits its ability to fit in smaller size bags/backpacks. The full-size keyboard, built-in optical drive and large screen are nice. Memory & storage can both be easily upgraded down the road. Recently upgraded it to Windows 10 without any problems.

Top brand at a great price, works great. waited for some time to make decision on a laptop, worth the wait. only drawback, getting use to windows 8, cant wait for windows 10 to come out.

Bought this laptop for our daughter for college and it does everything she has needed it for and more! In fact, she rarely uses her tablet anymore, which surprised us since most people seem to be gravitating towards tablets lately. It's fast, sturdy and dependable!

Bought this for my college going brother and He likes it. But keep in mind - The screen size is 15.6 but the laptop is slightly bigger lengthwise as compared to other Dell and Toshiba 15.6. Hence had to return a 15.6" laptop backpack that we'd purchased separately since this just wouldn't fit inside. The laptop configuration is good. I would recommend this provided you plan on buying laptop bags that can accommodate probably 17" laptops

This laptop has enough power to do most anything imaginable. I am able to run some pretty high usage programs better than a friend with a 3000 Apple desktop. The thing that deprecated this laptop from comparable other options is the fact that Lenovo allows for upgrades and changes internally that can allow me to expand its capabilities easily if ever necessary or just wanted

this Lenovo 15.6" laptop was a great purchase. It is solid, well built and does everything expected. It doesn't come with any bells and whistles, but for the price it can't be beat.

Easy to set up and update. Screen not as crisp as others. Love that has DVD drive. Allows for it to double as dvd player for kid on trips. Great starter computer for school too.

Bought this as a secondary laptop just to store some photos on, but have found many other uses and it is fast enough for anything.

I bought this as an open box. I knew it had an A8 processor, but not much else. I'm used to Intel processors, but figured I'd take a chance. What a nice computer! 6GB of ram, a DVD/CD rom, and some lovely speaker sound. The keyboard is nice and reactive and the mousepad works like a dream. I would highly recommend this computer to anyone who wants a basic laptop for everyday needs.

This computer isn't anything that will blow you away. It's not super fast but it gets the job done. Start up time is pretty quick. For $300 I have nothing to complain about.

I would have given this lap top a 5 star rating but ran into an ISSUE 2 days ago. All the videos I clicked on turned SOLID GREEN. You could still hear the voices just a green screen. I did some research and it is happening to a lot of people but only on WINDOWS 8 and 8.1 computers. I just found a FIX for the problem this evening but I'm just wondering what kind of gliche this is and it seemed to start when I reserved my FREE copy of WINDOWS 10 scheduled to come out the end of next month so I don't know if that has anything to do with the issue. Otherwise, Lonovo laptop is GREAT. I love the keyboard. Has a real nice touch to it.

I purchased this for my son going to college. great for the price and works great. He just uses it for writing papers and exploring the internet so it works great for that.

For the price at the beginning i have some doubts about the quality. But while trying it, it is really good for the work i do.

I bought this computer for my son just to go to college and he is very happy with it I'm glad that I bought it the price was right and I feel like I made a good decision.

This is a great laptop for the price. It does all the things I need it for. I am not using it for work or major projects.. Basically I use it for school & small projects.
