This laptop is faster than the one I had previously. Still tends to lag from time to time, but all in all efficient for basic functionality.

If you are looking for a good every day laptop this is a great product. I am not a fan of windows 8

I purchased a Lenovo - 15.6 Laptop - AMD A8-Series - 6GB Memory - 500GB Hard Drive - Black, for school purposes. This laptop is really easy to function and great for school. It isn't too fancy to the point you don't know where to go to find something. The only downside I have found so far is that the screen will change when I use my mouse at times, which then I have to switch back to the original screen I was on. It is great for word programs and for social networking. I really enjoy the slimness of this laptop and it's functions.

My desktop hard drive failed (thankfully I bought a seagate 3T NAS a several months ago) so I needed a new computer for my home office. I typically buy desktops, but everyone else in the fam has a laptop, so I took the plunge. This laptop is not the fastest or have the most storage, but it suits my needs just fine (word, excel, quicken, etc) I immediately upgraded to Win 10 as soon as i turned it on, it even asked me did I want too. I've had no problems so far, the screen is wonderful and sound is very good with built in speakers.

Very nice, pretty fast. Great for surfing the web and can play low end to moderate games at decent quality. Battery life could be better :/

I LIKE THIS LAPTOP ALOT. I AM OLDER AND IT IS EASY TO GET AROUND. THANK GOODNESS THOUGH I HAVE THE GEEK SQUAD BEHIND ME AS I HAVE HAD TO CALL TO GET MY PRINTER HOOKED UP AND A FEW MINOR ADJUSTMENTS. THEY ARE VERY HELPFUL. WELL WORTH THE MONEY. LIKE I SAID LIKE SIMPLE. EVERYONE VERY NICE ALSO. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK.!!!!!

This is a good laptop for my mom who is over 70 years old. It allows her to get appropriate information and keep in touch with the family.

I could not be more pleased with the purchase of this - my personal laptop. I performed extensive research beforehand and can, with confidence, state that this is the best laptop on the market at $300. I LOVE the almost grain-like texture of the inside, as well as, now, Lenovo, having only ever used Hewlett-Packard.

works as expected, battery says 75% after a few minutes of use

This was one of the best laptops per reviews based on the price I wanted to pay at that time. It takes a bit getting used to have the numeric keypad on the laptop keyboard. The home and end keys are in different places that what I am accustomed. My one issue is the volume/sound. I seem to be having some issues with the volume. I'm not sure if this a user issues based on the various programs I'm using volume for or if it's a hardware issue. Easy to overcome at this time. Will wait to see if this is a longer problem.

Great computer for a student. I can do my homework, watch movues, and even play a few games.

I was a bit unsure of purchasing a system with an AMD processor, but am I glad that decided to make the purchase. This system more than meets my personal and business needs and when connected to my FIOS home network, it is more than adequate for entertainment purposes as well. Another great buy from Best Buy!

My first experience with an AMD processor and so far I'm not disappointed, I had hoped with an i5 equivalent processor and 6 gig ram things would move a little faster from the start, but that has improved since removing most of the programs that came on the system. Does everything I need which mostly involves video games both local and online.

Gift for my son works well for him. The specs for the price could not be beat at the time

Exceptional laptop for the price, the only issue I see is the function keys are keyed so that you can't hit f1 without the fn key.

I purchased this laptop with the sole intention of using it to run a software that could not be used on my Mac. I have been delighted by how well it runs, its battery life and its other features. I've actually begun to use it more than my Mac. A great product and I'm very satisfied with the price I paid.

I got this at a really good price, it is a quad core laptop. I did replace the hard drive with a solid state drive though. My laptop boots windows 8 in like 3-5 seconds after the Lenovo screen.
