This is a good entry level computer for getting on the Internet and writing some papers. Don't expect it to handle serious gaming, but it will run games. Perfect for my kids.

Is great for surfing the web as it goes fast but keeps the sites you use most often in the address bar.

This laptop is a great value for the price! The battery life is great, fast downloads, just a good overall value. I mostly use it for email, downloading, and watching video and it has exceeded expectations.

I bought this laptop as my desktop is getting really old and slow. I didn't need any help setting up wireless as it auto found it for me. Everything is running better than expected. It did come with the Lenovo virus, but my anti-virus found it and with Lenovo themselves supplying the needed update, it is now gone. I would by this brand and laptop again.

Got this for a at home laptop so I don't have to bring mine home from work. Great value for the price.

Purchased for my daughter to use at college, was a great price, hope it will withstand the punishment.

This really is the best bang for the buck when it comes to cheap laptops. It's got a great, well reviewed processor. Really good LED screen. All the standard usb, dvdr and whatnot. Even has bluetooth, which is a nice feature. And a terabyte of hard drive space - I'll never use all that up. I had a Lenovo laptop before this one and it, also, was very affordable. Lasted me 4 long years of constant use, which, for the price, I am quite satisfied with. Shopped around and found this gem for only $299. Really tough price to beat given all the specs. Highly recommend!

Widows 8 is difficult for me. Leveno seems to like you to use there products and makes it difficult to use 3rd party stuff. I don't find it user friendly. I like my Toshiba windows 7 much better. May just take some time to get used to but for now give me a Toshiba instead, or windows 7 ?

I was out of town and needed something cheap and easy to use that would last a while (tired of trying to look things up on my phone). It comes up quick, and process fast. Great machine for little money.

After bloatware is deleted this is a good laptop for the price.

I got if as a birthday present for my 10 year old niece. She loves it! We set the parental control on it. Installed the anti-virus that came with it. She does her school work on it, as well as playing games and watching videos. Would recommend it absolutely!

Great value for the price. Once you get rid of the outdated and now obsolete Internet Explorer it works great. Can't believe it even has it loaded on it. Not the greatest battery life but nice display.

Works as it should but has a big problem with the mouse pad not working properly and it is extremely aggravating. A speck of dust that not even is visible on the mouse pad stops the pointer and makes it change the page size like you have two fingers on it. Had to turn off the mouse-pad click feature or it would click on everything other than what you wanted to move the pointer to. Speed is average for the processor it has(AMD A8) and am satisfied with the rest of it. Had I read the reviews of this model or the sales associate was even moderately knowledgeable I would have bought another brand. I was reading reviews of a Toshiba laptop and had intended on buying one that day. The so called sales associate talked me into this one over the Toshiba(My Mistake). It has been a couple of months and it works better than it was new. I was hoping it would break in? I waited a few month to write this review not like the Yahoo's that take it out of the box turn it on and say it's great in a review because they own it. This problem should have been addressed before release of the product therefore I cannot recommend this particular model and do not know about other Lenovo models. There should be a recall for the mouse pad but Lenovo hasn't stepped up!!

I needed a new laptop for casual internet use and word processing. This one fits the bill! I caught it on sale, so it was a great price. I've had it about a month, and so far, no real complaints. I have noticed there's a weird scrolling affect on the screen at times--for example, when I use Microsoft Word, the dead space around the page of text appears to be moving. Not sure if this is a defect or not, but I'll be looking into it.

Great laptop with fantastic speed only problem that I found is that is full of unnecessary software
