Needed a new laptop to replace an older and larger format laptop and this one fit the bill. Plenty of processor power, memory and storage for a basic office machine.

Thais is an entry level computer for my 10 Year old son. Needlessly to say I'm using it myself as it is fast and has a lot of storage. Would definitely recommend it.

This laptop has proven to be very sweet. While battery life is shorter than I would like, everything else is great. Operates in Metro and Desktop modes and is great.

My new laptop is so fast, I'm having trouble doing things on it. But that's only because I don't know anything about computers. Luckily I have a freind who helps me.

This is a really well built laptop. It has a really nice matte finish that doesn't show fingerprints. Has AMD 8, plenty of HDD and does not come with a complete OS.

Bought this laptop for school and school only,although a little slow on typing at times it is wonderful computer plenty of space for all my school needs, big enough for those nights I need to do home work and zoom into things. Taking 22 credit hours this semester and have not had an issue yet.

The main point I would like to make is, that this laptop is serviceable for everyday use, such as browsing the web or creating word documents, but not much else. These tasks do not require a lot of processing power and memory, and barring some outside issue would be ideal for basic use around the house. When trying to use the laptop for anything demanding more power such as video editing and modern computer gaming, then the laptop starts to have performance issue. For the first time or inexperienced computer buyer, the system specifications listed for this laptop and on other software exist for a reason. Disregard them at our own peril.

The laptop had an easy set up and performs well for my purposes (mostly, web browsing, word processing and streaming).

Brought the computer home and gave it to my Mom. These are just about a "plug and play" unit. Had it up and running, but something happened and Mom couldn't get to certain websites. The Geek Squad couldn't even fix it at first, they did a complete wipe and reload. Seems to be working fine now.

The machine works very well. It start up very fast and downloads stuff from the internet fast. It also has a lot of storage for pictures and documents.

The Best Buy guy said, out of the choices in my price range, he would choose this one... So I did. I got it home and up and rolling easy enough, but then it started acting weird. Turns out, this particular group of computers already had a virus. From the FACTORY. Seriously?!? I would have liked to have known that that was why they were on sale!! It would have saved me some time and effort. Look up the specs, go to the Lenovo site and find out how to get rid of the virus that they are AWARE is ALREADY on your computer. After you get rid of all of the startup issues, it is running fine. However, I would have chosen a different one had I known.

This laptop is not only fast the screen is outstanding. Along with everything else this is OUTSTANDING for the price.

Perfect for what I need! Simple word processing, lots of web surfing and email correspondences. Wasn't too crazy about Windows 8, but the new Windows 10 makes this laptop even better!

If you like easy, no hassle, upfront & organizational accessibility to your laptop, then this is in my opinion the PERFECT one! But... The #1 MUST in today's society is "OUR PRIVACY" right? With Lenevo your access to the TOP Security for your laptop is at your fingertips. Not to mention the speed that it has is amazing! I have never had a slow moment, not once! Even with me using up 80% of my storage space one time its almost as if it was faster, no joke. Also... PERFECT resolution for anything your viewing. Pics, Videos, Etc.. Bottom line is on a scale of 0 to 10 its definitely ITS 1000!

I first purchased a Toshiba laptop and had problems with it playing videos. so I returned it and got another and had the same problem and returned that one within 6 hours. then I bought the Lenovo and have had no issues with it.

We purchased this laptop for our son to use for schoolwork and homework and has been great so far. It is also fast enough for him to play games online as well.

It has a login feature the identifies your face, so no typing. It gets me.on the Internet fairly quickly and it's so light I love carrying it with such ease.

this laptop is very good at this price which I bought on sale, I primarily use this for Skype calls, browsing and internet. Also moderate photoshop usage. good performance so far

The Levono computer seems to be good quality for an ok price. I like that it has dvd player and speakers too to enjoy movies. I heard Levono are well made. Has lots of memory too.

I've always preferred IBM, now Lenovo laptops as a corporate user and for the last 15 years for my own use. It's great quality, great keyboard, easy to maintain and lasts a long time. For $299.00 it can't be beat for a basic home user. No need for MS Office, and still has DVD player.
