The touch pad with cursor is erratic and unreliable.

Purchased the computer for my son. It meets his needs, but it isn't a speed demon.

I like the laptop, I don't like the mouse it don't respond as well as I would like.

My 9 year old girl likes this laptop, but I think it's okay for the younger kids.

This laptop has an all plastic shell. It feels a little junky. The mouse pad is horrible and not very responsive. I ended up getting a wireless keyboard/mouse combo. Spend an extra $150 and get something a little more durable. It is very light, it has a good amount of storage and would make a good laptop for a beginner.

This may be a decent computer, but I didn't really get the cance to find out. The hard drive crashed after only 14 days. Besides that, the computer seemed like it was running well after I got it set up, but setup was a hassle. If I wanted a computer to connect to Skype and video chat and all that garbage, I would have said so, but my wife just wanted to use it for email, recipes, Facebook, and word processing. I don't think that you should have to set up all the extra garbage if you don't want it. Only had the options of what names to use, where you live, and all the other info. There was no option of whether or not you want all the extra garbage. If you want all that set up for you, then this might be what you are after. After all, it is seldom that a hard drive crashes in two weeks or less. So tell me, do you feel lucky?

Works well for a high school student. Internet and Microsoft is focus

I purchased this laptop when it was on "deal of the day" for ~245$. My review is based on the return i feel i got for the price i paid. I got the laptop delivered in 2.5 days after placing the order. As i opened the box, i found that the laptop is very sleek. Personally i don't like 15.6" sized laptops but this was alright due to it being sleek. However, i feel it on the heavy side. After two days of light use, i feel happy for the purchase. Its fast as its loaded with 6 GB RAM, and a decent processor. I may offer a better opinion once i start to use it on a regular basis. Having inbuilt Bluetooth is a huge plus for me. I transferred photos and videos from a windows phone and the process was very quick. WiFi connectivity was quick and didn't pose any issues. The speakers are more than decent and are very loud. Screen resolution is alright and nothing to complain about. Keyboard is very nice and the keys are well-spaced. Having a full number keypad on the right-side of the keyboard is a great feature for me as i use Excel quite a bit. I don't know whether that's a standard feature for a 15.6" laptop. Not having dedicated Bluetooth, WiFi, and play-pause-stop keys was disappointing for me (considering the amount of room the keyboard has) but i guess i got more than needed for the price i paid. The 8.1 Windows software comes with a lot of pre-loaded apps which i don't find much use for. But most of them can be uninstalled so its not a negative. Other than the laptop being heavy, i don't find anything to complain about regarding this laptop. However, this review is based on a 2-day light use. I will try to update this review after a couple of months use to provide more details.

It's just Ok, I got another Lenovo too. Except by the WiFi conexión!.

Only had this 2 weeks before I had to return it. Worked great that first 2 weeks. Then the disc drive would only open manually, would not recognize a disc when inserted, and would freeze constantly. Too bad really because for the price, seemed like a great little device....for 2 weeks.

the Windows 8 experience loses something without a touch screen.

computer is decent. Not used to the size and thus returned.

Decent speed for gaming however loads slowly for facebook.

Good computer for the basic daily finctions, email, etc.
