I have been a thinkpad users. T420 was ok, but T430 was awful, regardless cpu power and memory ( 8 mb ) I was unable to play most of dvd on T430. I have no issue with this laptop. windows 8 is troublesome, maybe I am not yet used to it. it has a big screen but light weight. Under key lights are helpful to type at night in a darkroom.

This laptop provides premium performance for a very economical price. It has features that are usually found on laptops that cost hundreds of dollars more.

I needed a laptop for my two sons to use for games and internet. It's nothing overly flashy and a bit slower than I would like at times, but overall it is a great value for the price. I'm very pleased with the purchase.

I spent a lot more money on my prior 2 laptops, but am pleased to say that this one, which cost me significantly less money, has thus far proven to be well worth it! I'd never owned a Lenovo, but I've been told by several people that it is a really good computer. Glad I bought it!

The item appears to have been cheaply made (the keys, exterior, etc.) But the overall item it's self seems to be just fine. I needed something I could use to get on the internet, upload my photos so I didn't lose them from my camera and do my college classes on. So far, so good.

I use this laptop for developer oriented (Visual Studio mostly) and it works great! Mostly for work and remote situations that I need it.. Good for the price, replaced a 2GB laptop I had previously. Glad I moved up ;-)

The laptop is fast and meets all of my expectations. it also had a great price and i am very happy with it.

Lenovo - 15.6" Laptop - AMD A8-Series - 6GB Memory - 500GB Hard Drive - Black. This is an entry level laptop that performs well. Too often we buy more computer than we really need; this one meets all my requirements for education purposes with room to spare. If you're looking for a basic laptop, I'd recommend it. If you plan to work long hours then I'd recommend a higher level of Lenovo with longer battery life. I'm well satisfied with this laptop.

Laptop was easy to set up. So far no problems with it. Would recommend this Levovo G50 to anyone that wants a good laptop that doesn't cost a fortune. Does everything that I bought it for. I also bought one for my daughter to use.

Bought this for my parents as they needed a new computer. It works perfectly for their needs. No touch screen, large screen size an inexpensive because all they do is word processing, watch some videos online and email. It obviously has the capability to handle more than that. I would say I'm relatively impressed with the battery life considering the screen size. Only downside is I basically removed all the Lenovo bloatware that came preloaded.

This Lenovo - 15.6" Laptop - AMD A8-Series - 6GB Memory - 500GB Hard Drive - Black has proven to be a great computer from running my AutoCad LT 2016 software. Plenty of Power, Plenty of Speed, and Simple to Use.

I am a Asus fan through and through but when my wife's old laptop had its power connector get damaged I had to find a replacement the same day. This model was on sale for $330 and I have to say considering I had never heard of Lenovo I am quite pleased.

Due to a sale and open box, this was around $300 and was a great deal for a consistently well performing laptop for my father who only uses the internet. Yes, I could have gone with a chrome book but this allows for much more use if need be for others in the family.

Found this product to be a good fit since my last laptop broke. The price was right and it allows me to do school work along with play some games

The laptop works just fine. I'm having trouble navigating the operating system though. I'm not sure I like that. There's so much I can't figure out...basic stuff like checking history, going between open sites, and even turning it off at times. Frustrating at times.

I was looking for a inexpensive computer that had a CD ROM, very hard to find. Most of them are chrome books that don't have this feature. Best Buy was very helpful in helping find the right one. This Lenovo is very good for the right price. Easy to use and great features. I'm still llearning everything it can do!

Looked at several laptops and friends recommended looking at this brand Lenovo. Good price nice size wife is happy. The only concern is the software and not as easy to get around as Windows 7 but learning.

On day 28 of owning my Lenovo laptop I took it back to Best Buy because it was running so slow. The Geek Squad "diagnosed" the problem at the service desk, telling me it had a "process replicating virus" that was not covered by the manufacturer warranty. (Best Buy warranty is a mere 15 days, BTW) The Geek Squad recommendation was a $129 bench charge or the purchase of a $200 service agreement which would have been $99 had I purchased it with the laptop. I declined both options, left the store with my crippled laptop under my arm, and went straight to the computer repair company I use at work. Their diagnosis was two-part: Drop Box was sucking up all of the system resources, so they uninstalled and reinstalled the program. This helped alot. There was also a problem with one of the memory sticks, but they found no virus. ... After having real computer pros executed repairs on my Lenovo, it ran much faster. And after they took off the Windows 8 operating system and installed Windows 7, it ran like a racehorse. (And I paid them MUCH less than I would have had to fork over to Best Buy.) I would recommend the Lenovo, but not Windows 8, nor would I recommend Best Buys' Geek Squad.

Purchased this laptop for everyday home use on sale at Best Buy. Have had no problems with it thus far after over a month of use. Have no issues with the speed of the computer starting up after I deleted some of the Lenovo packaged software. The computer is relatively light weight and easy to use while watching TV, etc. For the price I think it is a great deal.

This laptop doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles but the price was good and it does the things I need. I now wish the hard drive was larger, maybe 1 gig or so.
