Lenovo Laptop

We had to have a new battery within the first several months but the new battery did not last much longer than the original one. We won't be buying a Lenovo again for many different reasons.

Good, but some issues.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this laptop as an open-box item. It had a few scuffs which shaved the price a little. After a few days, I could tell why they were there and how easy it is to scratch the sides of the display panel; it has really cheap plastic. Build quality is what you'd expect from a entry-level PC. Other than that, the AMD A8 is fine for the usual stuff. This model has two RAM slots, one filled with 4GB, other is 2GB. i chose to upgrade mine to 2x4GB. I also upgraded to a SSD. Note: if you are planning on upgrading the slow internal HDD to an SSD, be sure not to use the built in recovery, it does not work and errors out after 1%. OneKey recovery is also terribly slow. I suggest doing an image backup, or fresh install(lenovo has all of the drivers online, makes it really easy and the 8.1 recovery tool is available online.) All things considered, it is a good laptop after the much needed upgrades.
