Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo IdeaPad 110-15 laptop. You should have the opportunity to save your files and the current work you are doing before the update starts. Also, you can turn off automatic updates by going to the Cortana search window and either say or type "automatic windows updates". This will let you select "windows update settings". Here you can turn off automatic updates. What will happen now, is you will get an alert that there is a new update. You get to choosing when you allow the update to occur. Always create a restore point on your system before you allow an update. That way if the update fails, you can always restore back to before the update occurred.
